  1. Oh there is no arguing that Disney has made a large misstep with the Star Wars franchise. Waiting to see what their response will be. I assume we will have a quiet period following the next installment; gauging fan reaction and how best to proceed. Worst case is we wrap up the trilogy and wait a few years to reboot the next phase. Best case, JJ makes a movie so damn good we all go nuts clamoring for the next one. We need new characters though. There currently isn't a single role in the new universe that I give a rat's patootie about. Rey was the closest but they screwed up her story so badly.
  2. Gonna be that guy... That is not irony. That is coincidence.
  3. Its a 4k Amazon Fire TV I picked up on Prime Day.
  4. Just saw this for the first time on Amazon 4k. I really went into this with an open mind ready to enjoy a fun space western. What a disappointment. The story is so damn lazy and consists of nothing but shoehorned narratives, macguffins, and deus ex machina moments that I ended up feeling insulted. How stupid do the film-makers consider their audience? Maybe if I was high or blind drunk I could overlook this monumental piece of absurd story telling. It's a shame. I actually liked the actors portrayal of young Han. So friggin done with the Star Wars universe. Edited to add: Will probably give Star Wars one more chance with JJ Abrams's next installment.
  5. Sorry, it is one behind the screen version of "The X-Men go to the Texas State Fair".
  6. Nice to see a real sale for these books in grade. I was incredibly dubious over the recent 20k sale reported for one of these issues.
  7. I would just like to see a well done sci-fi movie. Don't care about much else. Rogue One fit the bill. The first decent Star Wars movie since Empire. Still waiting for the next.
  8. Amazing career! Sad to see her go but man, what an awesome run she had in comics!
  9. *In the style of Sam Elliot* There's some mighty twisted knickers in this here thread.
  10. Possibly in some measure. I wonder if the later generations just aren't as interested in the Star Wars Universe and see the MCU as their own cinematic mythology. A passing of the torch or something like that.
  11. For some reason I have found it fascinating to compare this movies performance to Solo. Very telling when one of the weakest characters in the MCU outperforms Solo. Edited to add: red underline is the domestic total which varies by only 1% between the two movies.
  12. Amazing that so much money was spent without a rock solid licensing agreement in place. Insanity.
  13. I give your card a grade of 42. Go forth and be content.
  14. Why do you think you may have made a mistake? If you are simply collecting Vampirellas go for nice ungraded copies. Nice, in that they have good eye appeal. You will save a fortune staying away from CGC graded issues.
  15. Saw that cover in my peripheral vision and immediately thought. "Woah! That kid is peeing on Frankenstein"
  16. Wish that wasn't a PS4 exclusive. Would love to play it on the PC.
  17. To this day PlaneScape Torment remains my favorite RPG ever played.I have never been sucked into a games narrative to the extent that Planescape captured me. I may have to replay the enhanced edition now that you've got me thinking about these old gems.
  18. It was my goto source for Inifinty Engine games for years. Recently Steam has added those as well but GoG will always be my sentimental favorite.
