    Because SyFy has shallow pockets and they cancel shows. It's what they do (see Expanse). Better to be picked up by Amazon or Netflix.

    Is anyone truly excited about this movie? I can't gauge this sort of thing anymore. I just feel like the majority of the old farts like me don't care about Star Wars and the younger generation would rather watch their myths (MCU).

    Ran this by my wife. "Natalie Portman will be the new female Thor. Valkyrie is king of Asgard and looking for her queen"... She burst out laughing. I think we are done with the Marvel Universe movies. My interest was waning even before Doctor Strange and my wife was a big Captain America fan. I hope Marvel knows what they are doing. I still have about a decade before I sell my collection and I don't need them tanking the market.

    Meh. I just wish they'd concentrate on creating good characters and stories. My feeling is this is just a bit of media posturing by an individual and the X-Men name will endure. I'll save my man-tears for if and when they actually gender neutralize the team surgically.
