  1. Love 'em! I owned the Salida Foxhole 4 years ago & sold it for a song
  2. Agreed. At least Baylor and TCU blow out their bad opponents. Ohio State is not winning in impressive fashion despite playing garbage teams. Really? Average margin of victory: Baylor: 32.375 TCU: 24.375 Ohio State:23.375 Sagarin strength of schedule: Baylor: 104 TCU: 53 Ohio State: 68 But don't let facts get in the way... And LSU is winning by 14.25 ppg with the 37th ranked SOS. Well put I mean how BIG do they have to win by? They won their last test 49-7 I stated earlier in some thread and agree with GAtor that LSU looks like the best team in the country and Ohio State hasnt really passed the, "eye test" so to speak even in my eyes and thats my team (them and BGSU) but lets not quickly forget that they havent lost in a LOOOOONG time. Longest winning streak in the country last I checked and whats LSUs biggest margin of victory anyways since we are talking about it? like 20 something over a 4-4 Auburn team and Western Kentucky. Like I said not taking away from them they have a dynamic team that looks to be the best in the country right now with an awesome back but Ohio States got a pretty awesome back too I might add. This weeks test against Minn will be a decent one they have played both TCU and that team up north tough. Add in the fact its a primetime game and their starting QB got busted for being an . Im not putting Ohio State in the National Championship game just yet but I dont think a #3 ranking is overrated for them right now. I thought they were when they were at #1 but we cant fault them for NOT losing guys come on. Ohio State beating Indiana by 7 points counts as a loss in my book. Well at least you're being rational.

  4. * puts on sunglasses...* Good Lord that's white!
  5. How can you resist... "The Killers that Satan Hired!"
  6. Thanks all! My scanner is terrible, this scan is from the seller. Some day when I'm feeling brave I'll crack out the Jungle and take a pic of it. It's remarkably nice.
  7. I had a good month! Church, Church, Larson, non-ped, Church, Cosmic Aeroplane.
  8. Nice Jungles. I like many of the early Jungle covers. I have owned a few Jungles in the past, but I currently only own one... That's a heck of one to own!
  9. The Larson code for AMF was '80', so that likely is the Larson.
  10. Brilliant, where are you finding the cover submissions - Creeping Death from Neptune? I don't remember seeing them in there? Again, just brilliant stuff. Robert Wiener has the originals, as well as some other killer art. http://comicartfans.com/GalleryDetail.asp?GCat=5054
  11. second LEAST favorite Timely cover. the Green head Hitler cover is my #1 LEAST favorite
  12. His numbers are fairly accurate for a few publishers, but there are a handful of publishers (Quality comes to mind) where I don't think he was terribly accurate. MLJ and Ace might be off also, but I don't have the books in front of me at the moment.
  13. Dang, BOOT bringing the heat! Those Commandrons are interesting, I had at least one of the toys as a kid, but I have no recollection of the comic book.
  14. Sure - with all the great books popping up here, I didn't think folks would be much interested in this. I like the Big Shot title - with Vincent Sullivan as editor, the books have interesting characters and a decidedly early DC feel. I got interested in that title after seeing reprints in "Supermen". The interiors are way better than the covers would suggest.
  15. I'd like to find some, but occasionally I'll even pay for them!
  16. Possibly my favorite Fox cover. Extremely difficult book to find.
  17. I was just admiring the capes in a new acquisition today. They look great throughout the book.
