  1. "Featuring The Claw sniffer" I know it's 2 separate things, just entertain me here
  2. I just listed a very random stack of GA in the FS forum. Linkeroo
  3. I plan to list at least 8 pretty cool GA books tonight. I may list more, but I'm still torn as to whether or not I should let them go.
  4. Daredevil without hesitation. The Bat 1 has no appeal for a 6.5, and I'd be happier with a decent appearing lower grade copy. The DD is one of the classic books of the GA - despite not having an iconic hero. That book is SO cool on the interior...
  5. Great books. I love the Marvel Family. Much nicer than my copy.
  6. I've always liked the werewolf on this cover. I don't know why. Maybe he reminds me of the Owl stories by Arnold Lobel?
  7. I bet that girl doesn't have any problems figuring out which direction she's headed.
  8. Nice 131. I wish my copy was that nice. Or I wish you'd give me your copy. One of those two...
  9. That.....was.....AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Sharon!
  10. Prize 7 has to be one of the hardest GA minor key's to find. There hasn't been one available to my knowledge in 5 years. The last copy on Ebay went for something like 5 X guide. #20, on the other hand, despite being a Gerber no-show, is probably the easiest to find now. Go figure. I'm very jealous Jon.
  11. Everyone I've spoken to doesn't seem to think that's a particularly difficult issue. However, everyone has a different idea of which issues are tough, and which arent.
  12. I am super impressed by that book too. Who is the cover artist? What is the interior art like? It is really, really great art. I checked the book. 1st story is great Powell art with some more nice "talent". The rest is stock GA, although one story is pretty cool for it's having a lot of apocalyptic predictions - A-bombs & the like.
  13. Thems fightin' words buddy! Sorry Richard, but I agree with buttock. That felt like an odd sentence to type. But does buttock agree with you? For some reason that sounds nasty. The buttock agrees.
  14. I have a hard time with a lot of Timelys because they all look the same. You'd have to give "classic" notation to about 2/3 of the Schomburg covers. Classic should imply a run that stands out above the others. When someone mentions the title, that cover should pop into your head. When someone mentions the issue you should know it instantly. With a lot of Timelys, I still say, "which one is that?" Not that they're not great covers, it's just saturation. Same goes for moderns. There are a LOT of great images out there....every month. They can't all be classic.
  15. Bob Powell . He had a fine eye for "talent". He drew an issue of American Air Forces (I don't know which one, it's one of the A-1 issues) where the heroine has half her chest hanging out in every panel. I forget what the interior is like in this one . I'll have to check it out & get back to you. IIRC it's Powell interior as well. Air Ace as a run has some really nice covers that are HUGELY overlooked.
  16. A few off the top of my head, I don't have an OSPG handy, so I'm not sure if they're listed, but pretty sure they're not. I need to stop using so many commas.
  17. With the microchamber paper in the Eerie, was it previously slabbed? If so, what grade was it and were the defects noted?
