  1. Just went through my list. Not a chance of narrowing it to 5 It does, however, remind me how much I enjoy my collection.
  2. She's about to square up to bunt.
  3. What's the over/under on this one? Twice up Kirby doesn't seem to get the same nostalgia bump that 70s/80s stuff does, but I can't imagine this one finishing anywhere reasonable.
  4. Wow. There are a lot of big pieces that come up and have a flaw here or there to criticize. But this one is about perfect.
  5. I just got in another Promise book and the colors and gloss are exceptional, as has been the case on all of them. I'd have to at least entertain it for top 5. Definitely Church, Larson, SF.
  6. Well, that will teach me to trust gocollect. CGC has 12 on the census.
  7. This is worth getting if you want to read and forget everything. https://www.amazon.com/Anti-War-Comics-Steve-Ditko/dp/1684051789
  8. I know the feeling. I bought some reprints to read through recently and after 3 issues remembered virtually nothing.
  9. Surprised at all the love the Allentown collection is getting. While it does have a handful of top tier keys, it's at least matched on that level by the Larson, Windy City, and Kansas City finds; and the Larson and Windy Citys had much deeper runs. But the question should also be clarified. Are you asking which collection would you rather have in aggregate, or which collection would you prefer to have a single comic from. That is, is it the quality of the collection, or quality of the books in the collection.
  10. Not only is it a great cover, but the interior is great as well. The entire book is dedicated to anti-war stories and tons of Andru/Esposito art.
  11. That's a great question. The Cap 1 is out there. Does anyone know definitively of any others?
  12. It's fantastic. I'm glad you have it and love it!
  13. Really wonderful stuff. A lot of Ingels looks better in B&W, but the colors on this issue were done very well. Being able to view them side by side do you have a preference?
  14. Seth -- at least Wimbledon Green. Not sure about the rest. Mazzucchelli -- Imagine what Year 1 would bring.
  15. Yeah, someone should just email Marvel and see if they have that number. Otherwise it's opinion, and so long as you have some reasonable justification for it... which both sides appear to have... then why argue?
