  1. frank hooked me up with a set....
  2. Per the author, nothing coming out of SDCC...news, but not SDCC news.
  3. Didn't want to start a new thread, but did anyone see this? Honestly, never heard of the book or of Andrew Hussie; sweet cover though!!! Checked the bay, none for sale (so kinda going against the title of this thread)... Midas Flesh #8
  4. NOTE: Hastings variant currently onsale on the bay (its in the search for enormous) for 4.99 a pop. Shipping will kill ya if you want multiple (since they don't give shipping discounts). Believe it has a 800 print run...Cheers!!
  5. Wow….didn't realize how much the Lockford 3 were going for on ebay… You should be charging more on your site!!!
  6. Any idea of the total variants for #4? We have the "Lockford 3", the Ramos...that's all I've seen for pre-sale....googled and those are the only ones that come up via search.
  7. no worries...not sold out...don't feed into the paranoia here.... you'll be fine. im staggering em as people would order 200 at a time.... Right on!!! (and smart)
  8. After looking at the covers, personally, I like the color the best…probably wouldn't have ordered the negative version anyway…they look great!!!
  9. I have to second this position. Those of us who pre-ordered did so in good faith and now the particulars have changed. CGCBOARD10 discount didn't work.
  10. just to be certain can anyone check one of their variants to see if it has the prologue pages?
  11. Again, would have to confirm if the blog statement is even true before debating 1st appearance. 1. If repriinted in Issue #1; no issues...just another preview book. 2. If it's an original story, regardless if it's in a preview book, it would be hard to make a case that it isn't the 1st appearance. Of course, agree that CGC would probably never place a 1st appearance label on a preview book and that is what speculators/collectors mainly go by...so the 1st appearance point is moot. It would also make 1st appearance copy for RQ more expensive; there are30K (I think) copies of RQ1 out there; how many What Next are out there? 3K? It will still be interesting to see; I'll stop by LCS to see if they have a copy of WN and compare to my RQ1.
  12. It stated on that blog that Rat Queens and Deadly Class both had original stories not found in the monthly comic book (it stated they weren't your "average" preview stories). If this could be confirmed, this "preview" book would be the actual first appearance, no???
  13. Read on another site that the Image What's Next preview book actually had a stand alone story of Rat Queens; a story that is not in the comics versus a preview of issue #1. Can anyone with a copy confirm?
  14. . also lots of talk she doesnt even appear in the comic at all... can anyone breeze thru the book and confirm? update: thanks jimmy!!
  15. I think the poster was talking about first Star Wars comic cover. ahh....right on. 42 is absolutely correct for comic cover.
  16. star wars 42 is not his first cover... that belongs to famous monsters of filmland 165.
  17. The only copies I've gotten of this comic have the "ticks" as well…more than my damn bassett hound.
  18. Its a reprint, so unless its being hyped due to scarcity then it shouldn't do much of anything. However, it does have a few sales of around 10, 15 dollars. Impossible to say really. FCBD CGC9.8 Sale Agreed; raw copies haven't seen the FCBD version normally get past $10, but graded had a couple sales around $100 over the past couple months. Of course, then you have this.... MCS Special Origin Cheap

  20. wow...crazy and congrats. any precedent for this type of action on a book where there is no true reason for the rise in price? or is it just people seeing similar traits like harley (female villian, obscure start in cartoon type book) and they dont want to miss out?
