Would love to see Midtown sell out of #5 and #6; get some new readers into this series. I agree with some of the comments already posted, vast quantities of the early books are probably held by speculators. Hopefully the trade will bring in more readers and the second arc can get to 7K or above numbers. Anyone care to "speculate" orders for the 2nd arc now that media news is out? Is 7K achievable this early with an independent?

Hastings is a tough one for high grade IMO. Fricken need to clean almost every one of them and the cover stock does not forgive any dents or NCB. Pool that with Hastings shady shipping and it will be interesting how many of these turn out 9.8s. Info from RMA (who I use to press all my books) states the Enormous book's defects are a bi$%^ to press out due to the non-forgiving cardboard stock cover.

I could be wrong on the Creature Feature; currently there is over 50 listed on the bay (mostly in multiples on same listings); doubt 1/3 of the print run available at one time, so probably higher. Who knows

They are starting to show up for $18.99, the full-color variants that is, from other sellers. 50 just sold at $18.99...wow. Kudos to ThirdEye; they could have easily raised prices $5 or more per book; they are sticking to their original listing prices.

Anyone think it might be an animated show? That might be the more economical and logical choice for this series. However, Adrian Askarieh has done it before on a tight budget (Trollhunter) with movies. Would love to see live action series...

Read #4 last night...thoroughly enjoyed and it made me want to spend money (again) on Enormous. Looked on the bay to see if any #1 NYCC were out there...ziltch.

where did u get that info on the b&w? i thought larry said earlier in this thread they were looking to be around 150 (if my memory is correct).

TFAW shipped my #4 but didn't ship my 2nd print #1s.

Will the Wytches NYCC be difficult to get in high grade due to black cover? Interesting to know if the books seen at the convention were in overall decent condition.

Wytches has new series-just released hype, perfectly timed with NYCC and it has Image behind it. Enormous is on issue #4 already (at least, this week we should see it), has smaller 215ink behind it, and is still trying to find it's core readership. Remember, only 4K issues are probably coming out for #4...Wytches will probably have 10X that with their 1st issue (probably 20X). Lot more people want Wytches "exclusive" items and the market is showing that. I'm not complaining though; very happy I got my NYCC Enormous #1 for 2 fer $5! Want more, but price on the bay is about $50 per copy....

Who had the Phantom 2nd prints for sale? Was it the 215ink booth? Or were they part of the "sets" that were set aside for boardies?

I was lucky as well...were the sets for #1-#4 both covers (8 comics total)? I requested blindly and didn't ask... Looks like they also have a limited #1 (100 copies) available.

Glorious! All pre-orders will begin shipping next week. Yeah... Just got my invoice for next week. Nothing. The wait continues... Wow...this is kinda unreal/unlucky for this title. Based on Larry's note, that means the only issue to ship when scheduled for this series was #1. Sucks for the creators/writers since they seem to be on the ball with everything. Patiently waiting for 10/15/14.
