  1. Nice copies!! I owned that 5.0 at one time, i sold in the summer/fall of 2009. I wonder if you were the buyer or where you the seller on comiclink
  2. The 'hard data' you refer to is as soft as a baby's behind. The majority of sales of major Marvel SA keys occur without being reported to GPA. Those reported to GPA don't provide information on upgrade potential, chipping, staining or writing. But go ahead and knock yourself out disagreeing with one of the hobby's dealers with vast experience in pricing and selling SA Marvel megakeys. Or with the well known and highly experienced dealer who priced and sold my unchipped midgrade copies of AF15 (ow/w) and Hulk 1 (w) for prices that crushed the recorded GPA highs. Gator is the man when it comes to af15s!
  3. AF 15's demand is enormous, That's why people are slabbing NG's. It's that "I have to have it" mentality and people are lining up even if the book is torn up in pieces, we see this with Action 1's and Detective 27's. The same is starting with the AF 15 and FF 1. Just not enough copies to go around and people setting on lower grades cause they can't afford the mid to upper grades anymore. Ff1 is part of the big 3?
  4. By any measure that it is a mighty solid copy. Congrats. -J. +1 Clean Spidey is all that matters to me. All the wear is on the edges. Cant beat that! Very nice, no mc!
  5. cheap...I sold a 4.0 for 15995 this weekend... Must have been a real pretty 4.0. it was indeed...actually had a 4.5 priced at same (again, last year sticker) that I quickly moved up to 4K a point...whew 4k a point is a good formula up to cgc 5.0 but 5.5 and above is when things explode above $4k point. Also all of gators af15s have no mc and great eye appeal thats why his formula works
  6. I hope so. I really have no idea I could be way off Looks good to me, i sure hope so!
  7. cheap...I sold a 4.0 for 15995 this weekend... Wow! Gator-fmv for 7.0, 7.5,8.0?

  9. cheap...I sold a 4.0 for 15995 this weekend... Must have been a real pretty 4.0. it was indeed...actually had a 4.5 priced at same (again, last year sticker) that I quickly moved up to 4K a point...whew Whats the fmv for 7.0, 7.5, 8.0?
  10. 20k is definitely FMV on a nice 5.0. Book is tough to find at shows now too and I could see more movement this summer as dealers clamor for copies for shows. That 5.5 should've flown. I couldn't believe how long it lasted. $23k easy on a nice 5.5, from experience here
  11. That's a mighty nice presenting 5.0. (thumbs u -J. $19-20k is fmv in my opinion but it woulndt suprise me if you get higher than that!
  12. Perfectly stated, you have a nice 8.5 Just upgraded to a 7.0, really happy with it since the 7.0s have stabilized in price(hasnt changed much in price the last 3years)
  13. Yeah strong price on the 3.5-$11k Unrestored 3.0s and 3.5s have doubled in price from 3 years ago
  14. With the upward pricing on lower grades, itll be interesting to sell what this auction ends at

  17. Theres plenty of 0.5 and 1.0s that have nice appeal for the grade. Nicee eye appeal and no mc always sell fast and for a premium
  18. Maybe people are just over seeing Stan Lee's signature on everything.... -J. I was the winner of the botched 6.0 auction then they relisted it, i was the 2nd underbidder on the retried auction but my conclusion was that whoever wanted that 6.0 was gonna pay big bucks but in hindsight im happy it turned out that qay b/c gonna show my new big boy on friday when it arrives
  19. Af15 cgc 6.0 ss -$27k, a lot less than previous auction 6.0
