  1. I wonder if it'll reach $200k, it's a nice copy
  2. The back cover photo makes the book look pretty solid. But it looks like the front cover pic was shot in the dark by candlelight. Seems like an odd or calculated choice. I agree
  3. Curious to see what this 7.0 will sell for. Be nice if the front cover had a better scan. I cant even put in an offer since its been counter offfered everytime i checked on it http://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=662495
  4. can't wait to see what you add next. Serious congratulations buddy Thanks! I'm very happy with all 3, no mc and the gray background is still gray
  5. Yaniv is really easy to work with. Good communication!!
  6. I agree. I own all my books, no debt involved. Higher chance of profit if you can hold the af15 for at least 6-12 months and then flip it.
  7. What makes anyone think Metropolis would have paid $450K for that 9.4 copy, simply because they paid that much for another 9.4 copy. These aren't widgets.
  8. The seller might consider investing in a scanner. Pic of the right side would be great. It's already at $46k without a real pic. I suppose a chipped version is at least worth $46k
  9. If you got 2 high end bidders assuming they are not a dealer, would it matter to them if it's 425k or 500k?
  10. Nope ! Metro has an open offer of $450k for a 9.4, so it will hit at least that. I'm sticking with an easy half a milly. -J. Does this mean we can use the old Overstreet methodology in determining current prices on our books when the 9.4 ends? 9.0 = 90% of the 9.4 price 8.0 = 80% of the 9.4 price 6.0 = 50% of the 9.4 price, etc... We wish!! Sounds good to me
  11. Then i see an even better book over at cc, an unrestored 9.0. Wow http://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=651409
  12. There's a nice looking restored 9.4 coming to cl auction, looks nice http://www.comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2Fauctions%2Fsearch%2Easp%3Fwhere%3Dsell%26title%3DAmazing%2520fantasy%252015%26ItemType%3DCB%26CGC%3D%23Item%5F1105303&id=1105303
  13. Wow didn't realize this 7.0 was in the auction. Has mc so interested to see what the hammer price will be http://comics.ha.com/itm/silver-age-1956-1969-/amazing-fantasy-15-marvel-1962-cgc-fn-vf-70-cream-to-off-white-pages/a/7124-91114.s?ic4=GalleryView-Thumbnail-071515
  14. I do agree that the market is in the 10.5-12.5 range. Ive been shopping and looking at the market within the last year and that range is correct
  15. For grails like an af15, i like my slabs to be cgc'd
  16. Sold Bobby a slab and the transaction went super smooth. Very easy to deal with!
