  1. Pq is still high on many collectors "wish" list. I personally prefer to buy no mc, ow or better sa keys. That's been my model for 15 years and it has served me well that said, we adjust to the market. Recently I've bought several cr/ow af15s which in the past, I might have passed on, but these days I recognize the demand and have procured at a slight discount to ow or better books in same grade and same eye appeal range
  2. The 4.5 and 5.0 copies were clearly the "exception " imo thats said, if folks use that data to move their copy(ies) to higher levels and folks actually pay, then we could see the market move
  3. It was a funny Pages 3/1, that's the issue steve and I were referring to
  4. I agree. These copies always sold for a few hundred ...the clink hype is just that...marketed hype. There is no support at that level (or anywhere close). Scott just auctioned his .5 (my former copy, I believe )on cc. What did it close at, anyone know?
  5. As always , one sale does not a market (or trend ) make i would say sub 5.0 af15 are still 5-6k a point avg. always with exceptions (outliers) as we've seen...the 6-7.5 seem to be On the rise 8-10k+....with 8.0 and above exponential with no default tec 29 was, imo, undervalued relative to 31. Not surprising to see tec 29 trent to 15-20k a point. Deserving in today's pre Robin environment. Tec 38 likely still a 8-10k a point type book till we get more sales supporting otherwise
  6. Just in between meetings...I wish vacation. Work harder and longer here in a week than I do in the states in a month (non convention time)
  7. I can also say if I sell a cbcs book I do so at cgc fmv as well.
  8. Mind you I've qualified my statements with books I've followed but a large data sampling would reveal similar results across the spectrum, I suspect
  9. It's more like 70% from books I've followed
  10. Funny Pages 3/1 reprints the "Bruce Wayne " prototype Story from detective Picture Stories 5
  11. I'm in Honduras and I couldn't remember or check. Good to know.
  12. Don't believe there were any arrow stories in 2/11...I'd have to confirm but pretty sure
  13. Funny Pages 2/12 Second issue to contain Gustavson's Arrow!
  14. I certainly believe most all care about eye appeal ...what I ran/run into is buyers want to pay "average" prices (those data that incorporate inferior looking copies ) for "premium" copies. Ive always differentiated , and hope that folks will start to also
  15. For years and years and years and years I've preached from the mountain top about marvel chipping etc. much of the market always agreed but so many folks touted "gpa" that it used to be a little tougher to explain why my non mc copies were priced at a premium to the gpa/average copy the price spreads weren't as prevalent then, so it wasn't as noticeable . But now that the market has started to incorporate that into realized prices , I'm glad to see it
  16. I have seen ca pedigrees across most every 1940s centaur title so my guess is Likely they could exist.
  17. Since there were a lot of Centaur books represented in the CA Pedegree I own quite a few of them and in every case they have the distinguishing checkmarks not sure I've ever placed a premium on them
  18. I think I paid 850-900 so priced relative
  19. I have owned one. Never had anyone ask me for a copy , even when I had it on my convention wall
