  1. Or multiple printing facilities used ?
  2. Maybe as simple as diff printing plates when one wore out
  3. Good to know! I've spread the love on fp2/10...sold at least 4 copies (yours included) to fellow boardies.
  4. Funny Pages 2/10 one of the more important centaurs, imo introduced Arrow, a character that "thrived" in the centaur universe (relatively speaking) and was "successful" in that respect Took centaur a while to figure the characters appeal (at least as far as featuring on covers etc) I've owned many copies of this somewhat difficult book (can't wait to see what Berk offers) , and there's always been one in the "keeper" box (even after the centaur purge years ago...can't call it the "great" purge since Berk will own that mantle)
  5. I remember buying andres tec run the first go around. Fun times when I actively bought and sold pre robin tecs. Only brian made the mistake not selling to me (cost him a little bit iirc) back then. Everyone else (like George and Mark etc) I always bought! These days, not so much
  6. I did indeed. Had a 4am flight to Honduras this morning but don't miss a minute of gator basketball!
  7. This one I've always liked ...if you can't win, beat up the kid that did and take his trophy
  8. Bonus post apparently I missed amf22 havent checked but a boardie informed me so here you go...bonus time!
  9. admittedly I've never held the book in my hand...never bought or sold it (and never will I suspect), so like the other individual that insists of fading, I have no dog in this fight... but if anyone has any first hand evidence to the contrary, I would love to see it... it "looks" like a badly faded book, that much is not really in question by anyone, I don't believe...and it sold like a badly faded book would (so the grade designation was not relevant to the realized price)...but, at heart is the real reason it looks like it does...
  10. Folks... West Stephan who actually touched the book , held the book and graded the book states there is no sun fading ... so we have had a respected authority on grading the book chime in, why speculate or state otherwise? I only know the lack of red on the back cover is what made me believe the CGc notification ...that said I would personally never buy a copy that looks like this regardless of the reason
  11. I will happily sell all my 4.5 and 5.0 at those prices!
  12. You go right on believing sun magically penetrated roofs and walls and faded the back as well as the front no dealer on these boards peddled that book, but you choose to ignore that fact too And for the record I personally wouldn't buy or sell a copy that looked like this , regardless of the reason
  13. no mistake...I sold the nice 2.5 to bmoretoys 2 years ago, and the 3.0 last year to a good customer...I sell relative to my cost many times, not always full market
  14. I sold a nice 3.0 last year for 7500 I think...c'est la vie
