  1. I've always been underwhelmed by it ...heck, I don't even consider it a major ga key. At best a minor one. Grail? Don't think so (personally)
  2. CMO 1 Centaur (comics corporation of America) published some comics for the Chicago Mail Order company . These were produced as giveaways.
  3. arrow was featured in the Funny Pages title...unfortunately by oct of 1941, centaur was "all but done" publishing...so just got axed like all titles
  4. I would think the real estate/financial issues that plagued him are more to blame than his concern over diamond (actual did quite well, all things considered)
  5. hoard and centaurs rarely get spoken in same breath! its not whiz 22, but I've always loved it
  6. Amazing mystery funnies 24 last regular issue of this title.
  7. Amazing mystery funnies 23 Really sought out this copy when adamstrange posted , I believe, the church copy? Some years ago
  8. -Forum change has made it less appealing for the moment, but I still stop by daily -at some point we all sell. Documenting the centaur run here is first step. When? I don't know or have plans to , but if the mood strikes me, maybe one day -depends how you define "best" -sold the 6.5 action 1 via clink for $625,000 some 6+ years ago -$575,000 for previously mentioned action 1 -lost $12,500 on a pedigree mmc a few years ago
  9. Tried both. Not fond of it , but hopefully some aesthetic improvements will help
  10. George was already aware of this thread and had pmd me yesterday he had determined the sale not valid (seller wouldn't respond and confirm it a legit sale ) and he mentioned he would be removing.
  11. I believe George said he is removing?
  12. Look at sellers completed auctions. Both of the 2 high bidders have bid (shilled imo) the sellers auctions. When you have a 1500 feedback history of buying $5 Pokémon cards , cheap clothes , etc I'm going to call a duck a duck. You can believe what you want but it is what it is, and I believe it is worth the investigation to confirm the book has not and will not be paid for. My source is my source, and had been 100% credible in the past so I chose to relay and believe it to be 100% not legit. But if you don't care for my opinion , ignore it
  13. I was told that the winning bidder has a long history of 1)bidding on sellers auctions 2)only buys items typically in the $5-25 range leaving alone blatant attempts at market manipulation (for whatever reason), IS something this community should be on the lookout for (and subsequently report, imo)...
