  1. given that it is my book, I would have to be in the camp of "it is a fair opening bid".... let's put it this way, I started the bidding at a price I was willing to sell at (thumbs u
  2. hard at work sir? little dude's Football practice
  3. only tec 27 and tec 29 are better than tec 31, imo (thumbs u
  4. I agree about #92 - this is the best copy I ever found, and recently let go. The copies on Comiclink were much nicer than those generally - if ever! - available. The post-romance issues have some great artwork and stories - notably Astra. I'll post some pages if anyone is interested. I have a 5.0 and an undercopy I've been hoarding...but that is the toughest one hands down. I think Buck Biggins has or had the highest graded one. buck got the cgc 6.0 from metro a few years back..

  6. if I hadn't of gotten some of skypinkblu's undercopies, I am not sure I would have completed the 90-106 mini run... some I never saw for sale, in any condition...
  7. all the Sens from 90 and up are "scarcer"...probably 92 is among the toughest , but all are hard...nice pick ups!
  8. I just bought a really nice 3.0 for $900...just felt "lonely" without a copy
  9. attractive 4.0, I threw in a little bid too (thumbs u
  10. when I spoke to nadia about the tec 31 and 35, I honestly could not get past the PQ...provenance or not..they were attractively priced, however...yet hence, they did not end up with me, but glad david got them (thumbs u
  11. Did I mention that Chesler has great covers So, there's a reason people don't post Chesler interiors? Interiors are a real mix, often having nothing to do with the cover. The best work is probably from the Lou Fine imitators which included Charles Sultan. My sample size is small (so BP should chime in) but the stories are pretty generic (i.e. lame) without the skill of Eisner/Cole/Everett etc or wackiness of Fletcher Hanks. Did I mention the cool covers? what splash is that from AdamSTrange?
  12. (thumbs u not gonna post pictures of the run? oh, I am sure he will
  13. it went stronger by 10% than I though too...
  14. they sold it last year (thumbs u and given there is only one six oh on The census it must be the same copy.. I just checked GPA and its not there? Also, didn't it only reach something like $26K? Maybe it didn't trip reserve? it "sold" at 25k....now whether the buyer transacted or not is a different story I know not the answer...only that I couldn't bid on it because I was out of town at the time and the system wouldn't take my bid via my phone thank god for small miracles gator. oh, at 25K, it was a "bargain"
  15. had to leave my hands a second time but congrats!...now we need a group shot
