  16. That's Awsome!!! I was wondering what happened,as one minute the auction was up,the next it was ended. And at $5850 didn't make sense with a clink 6.5 book bid up to $7000. that was kind of how we arrived at 6500...figured he was the offer on clink, but the seller would only net "6300" after fees... if my book sold for 7K on ebay, then I would "net" $6600-6700+ after paypal fees, etc...so, we "met" in the middle and the deal was done (thumbs u Would have love to see the ended price, but $6500 sets a record. It would have "looked" better on the tape. Congrats Rick! my gut was it would have ended over $6500 on ebay, but after fees and all, I would have only netted what I sold it for...and the buyer is a good guy and really wanted the book, so I consider that a win too... I did email George with GPA to set the sales price straight, so it gets properly recorded in GPA (thumbs u

  18. well, tack on my 6.5 ow at $6500... it was too late to end the ebay auction early, so I had to end the auction at 5850 with the high bidder my buyer... will forward this info to George at GPA as well, so he can accurately record the sale... rick
  19. very true...if the book ends where it is now, I will lose... if the book shoots up, I might "win"... but in the scheme of things, whomever really wants the book ,need only bid to win It should have no problem clearing $6K for you. given I have had multiple offers well above that, I would hope you are right...but, that is just it...offers are just that, an offer... in any event, will be watching with interest

  21. I did get a 6500 offer to end the auction, so I am considering that let it ride... agreed...I have been "talked" into letting it ride by several key folks... I always put my comics up on ebay with no reserve, so I know the "risk" going in... sometimes you hit a home run, sometimes you strike out... we'll see how "real" those offers are, by watching the bidding process to the end
