  1. Please send me a $0.25. Since I have trademarked the ppp (price per point) I think I should get paid now
  2. Forgot about that. Might have to go revisit
  3. Haven’t had any conversations about they book yet
  4. Indeed. Now I just have the memories
  5. I owned the San Fran copy moons ago. It was prettY
  6. Correct. Heritage allows employees to bid on an item. But the same rules applies to them as to any non employee bidder. Bidding for the sole purpose of inflation (shilling) is illegal in Texas
  7. Shill bidding is illegal in Texas, just as it is in virtually every state. It is true heritage employees can bid, but they are not privy to max bids etc. They can only participate (legally) if they want to win. But in theory any auction house could incorporate some sort of illegal shill bidding technique to inflate prices (and their vig)
  8. I know the new owenr and most definitely is not me
  9. I’d be surprised if you know the owner. Not one of the usually suspects in our hobby.
  10. Or maybe the new owner just wanted to take a shot at an upgrade
  11. My response was more a PSA for the general public. But even then, I personally wouldn’t want to have someone I don’t know say anything to me, positive or negative, as a buyer or seller when any type of business or negotiations are in progress … @NoManknows it’s common sense not to, but apparently some don’t.
  12. Now you know Bad convention etiquette. If you are not part of the discussion no need to interject yourself or opinion …some deals can happen behind the table at a con, but most times it’s not logistically possible. Obviously I’m not talking about a book on a dealers wall, but a book where it is clear a seller and potential buyer are in a discussion.
  13. Having been on both sides of the table, third party observations/comments should be kept to themselves until such a time as party 1/2 have parted ways. Definitely bad form at a convention to make any comments (positive or negative) about a book/transaction one is not involved in.
  14. I understand. Just doesn’t appeal to me but happy it does to many!
  15. Couldn’t care less honestly , but happy for the winner
