Hey WTTB!!!!!!!
Always great to see a Joe fan here!!!!
I get most of mine from E-Bay and some of the stuff from other Joe collectors here and there (in fact if you have some issues in mind you are looking for let me know and I'll start searching through the boxes - it's amazing what few extras I have at time!)
If you wait and look long enough you can find full runs and lots on E-Bay as well... it's a great way to get several books at once for a deal (and a single shipping charge!)

Quick payment and AA++ buyer! Thanks!!!!

Most people can read their Moderns in under 3 minutes, not sure what you are saying there. It took me ~20 minutes to read a silver book...I can read a bronze in about 15 minutes. Sounds like the trend is in reverse.
It took you 20 minutes to read a SA book because you were 6 then.

id rather operate in person - cash in hand - but do it smart people - like with an intermediary in a public location like a library with cameras!!
If we do a face-to-face transaction for that amount of money in cash it will be in a bank so they can check each bill AND probably take one of my police buddies along as well!!!

Hey now... Didn't you consider unloading a few weeks back?
You get any decent offers S.M.? Or are they insulting offers that show they want to flip your whole collection?
Jerome
I am haggling with a gentleman currently... he seems very serious and lives near by (which is odd since I live in the middle of nowhere!) - we are discussing a face-to-face pick up.

^It's a great start man!
This thread is the whole reason I bought the particular house I own now haha.
- Why do I believe that?

anyone collect DDP's America's Elite? I'm not after the reg issues, only the conventions and incentives. Having problems finding the 2 convention/collector's club #1's and unsurprisingly the number 11 1in 200... Anyone got these? anyone got extras??
I might have an extra issue here and there of those. Out of town currently but give me a few days and I'll get back with you!

Just found out one of my Walking Dead Comixology 100s got a 9.9!
Pretty jacked about that one!

Star Trek Generations #nn CGC 9.8 s/s William Shatner, Patrick Stewart, Kate Mulgrew, Avery Brooks & Scott Bakula.
Picking one book for all the captains was difficult, but this seemed to be the best choice. It was this or a DC comics ST #1 with just the Enterprise on it.
WOW - very nice Rich!

Now THAT is one that will help your registry set stay #1 for a looong time. You bidding?
That it would! I won't be bidding... too much for me.

#21 9.9.. At $1350 with a day to go. I say it goes over 3000.
I am watching that as well... super crazy!

Added a few more things tonight...slowly but surely...
Mr Illmannered,
Loving the look, the room is getting better and better. And the horror posters
Your space is turning into a quality Man Cave - congrats
Thanks! The neat part about the posters is they are all fully autographed...one of my prized posters is a fully auto'd Seven!
Now I have to frame all my rock band photos...I've been lucky enough to meet and befriend many of my childhood favorites, it seems that everyone I meet is also a gun collector and it has been a great way to break ice and form friendships. Here's a few examples...
Here's my wife, myself, our friend Shannon, my good buddy Corey aka Craven Morehead ( adult director, great name ) and Kerry King from Slayer ( with his wife Ayesha ) backstage after the Mayhem Festival at Shoreline Ampitheatre near San Jose
My favorite musician of all time and a heckuva nice guy despite what you read, Glenn Danzig of Misfits/Samhain/Danzig fame
And these two awesome fellas, Tim & Eric...I think we were trying for a 'nice' glamour shot
And where's the Joe books!!!
-
I was a little worried this year; I haven't had a lot of time to focus on my Joe collection other than sending about 25 more out to be signed (which I haven't got back yet!) but it looks like I retained my spot again!
However I would like to recognize jrs069 in the #2 slot - he has managed to complete his set AND somehow find himself a copy of GI Joe #53 2nd print in 9.8!!! He's the man!!! (I hope he get's tired of those and sells me the few he has I need!!!!!)
Do the blackthorne issues count as part of the set, or is it just marvels?
Just the original 155 issues from Marvel, the Yearbooks, and the Special #1.
2nd, 3rd prints, etc?
Most of the 2nd and 3rd prints, but not all are listed in the set.

Has anyone noticed there are two different SDCC black & white covers? Look at the logo on the left hand side. On one it's under the bat and on the other it's partially covered by the bat. What's the difference?

Season 2 Special Edition Blu-Ray Case -

It's hard to believe nobody in the series know how to fish? Are the fish contaminated? I don't remember a boat in the whole story so far.Even if it was used for transportation. No interstate pileups to worry about and plenty of fishing towns to go in and out of for supplies. And what about hunting. Are all the wild animals gone? They're in the woods alot...no deer, squirrels, rabbits?
You do NOT want to screw with a zombie squirrel!!!!!!!!

Two more gone so only 3 left
ALL SOLD, THANKS EVERYONE! That was fast
Glad your personal sales thread is over
Now back to the speculation and possiblity of a official Walking Dead shampoo

Was going through my backstock and came across a Joe #9 W/tattooz inside. Is this normal or a variant?
