Necromancy!!!! Fantastic friend...actually found some of your sketches (that’s right back in the day you maybe could convince the rupp to make a sketch and add it to your pile...not that I encourage such chaos in the wasteland of mixed sales...) Reminded me I miss this place!!!

Hello friends!!! Looking for my old account... Hi there...trying to make a return to the boards after a long bit of time slacking (thanks to my brother Clay if you are reading for reminding me to come back and have a Chuck Norrisfest in the sales boards ). I know it is petty, but I hate having a new account. Trying to get the old Snake Eyes back, and not meeting with much luck. I have posted in the account merge forum as well as been in touch with Arch via PM (he is trying to ping someone who might be able to help). However, no luck to this point...anyone know of another admin to ping/PM to ask for an assist? To all my old friends, I truly hope the last few years have treated you, yours, and your collections wonderfully

Agreed....and I hate to be harsh on new folks (we are all new at some time), but even here you want to take care with folks that are selling relatively quickly after getting here. Do not be shy asking for references. Also, the long-standing folks tend to be pretty helpful...send a few PMs around asking about someone if you have concerns. Best of luck, and despite Sergio's abyssmal track record, I hope that your transaction completes without difficulty. If nothing else, you always have charge back options if you paid by credit card and paypal is unhelpful (thumbs u

That's definitive enough for me, especially as a response to the conversation between POV and me. I'm considering this dropped- like a lot of people, it has colored whether or not I will do business with Pimp. This. Respect Anfield's decision, and know that ultimately all acts have their consequences (even if it may not be placement on the PL).

I was kind of thinking this...may backfire, may not...but if the money is lost either way worth a try....I figure at the very least the credit card itself would honor the chargeback and at least make the seller's life more difficult...petty I know but
-
Even though you did Paypal personal, is initiating a charge back a possibility? Not sure how the rules shake out on that one, but may be worth a call to your credit card company

Seller has an active sales thread, it might be worth giving him a heads up as to the discussion. Will drop a PM and alert him to the talk (thumbs u

+1 across the board ... I've had the same PM conversations re HG books I was selling, and that is exactly what I said too. Better to be honest than to be "optimistic" to try to goose a sale. (thumbs u I have been validated!!!

They should, it policy to carry the 1092 not the 1095, complain to the 1 800 number. Nope, I have to order online as well. Neither Northport or Tuscaloosa, Alabama nor Newport News, Virginia carry the 1092's. In fact, they tell me to order them online since they do not carry them (as well as those rolls of priority stickers). No need to be so harsh to PLG I would think...just conversation and no reason to slam someone else (despite your employer )

Agreed, and quite simply the seller needs to have the willingness to acknowledge their own limitations (i.e. grading, resto detection, etc.). I know that I have sold some modern books, and I absolutely cannot reliably determine between 9.6 and 9.8's. I had a PM asking me a fairly similar question. My simple response was that I knew the books were NM or higher but could not comment on whether they would hit 9.6 or 9,8 in a slab. The potential buyer passed, but I think it is better to have that and a reputation for being forthright than a quick sale for a few bucks that could degenerate into a mess like this.

Done and done! And on Friday's menu you will find the ginger flavored hatorade on special (thumbs u

I'm in...raise the pot by $2 Maybe we should start a pool on who the mystery boardie is As much as I agree with everyone regarding the seller being a weasel and taking advantage of a newb, taking guesses will only turn ugly. Believe me that I want that itch scratched as well. If Kong wants to out him, groovy. If not, odds are the mystery seller will only sink himself sooner or later. A 20 or 30 day turnaround isn't gonna fly that well if they continue using that tactic. Perhaps you have something to hide??? I guess Park!!! It was more tongue in cheek than a serious suggestion
