  1. My understanding is the auctions are A-OK on a trial basis. Have not seen a book I want to try a bid on yet, but I for one am glad to see us try something new...no harm no foul right? So far the Wiz has the (thumbs u from me...and happy Halloween to all
  2. Belated, but huge Kudos to Shortstack...sent a small pile of reading material out of the goodness of his heart (wanted to share the magic of Chew). It was much appreciated and may karma pay you back with free comics in your mailbox soon (worship) (worship)
  3. Right back at you times two...definately a pleasure my friend (thumbs u
  4. Hey there Jason...how's life been treating you?
  5. That listing caught my eye earlier today. I like the idea of trying something new to add to the marketplace...several thoughts on this (in no order of importance) 1. Nice to see somebody try to add something new... 2. I would prefer not to give my email with my bid and keep all board transactions to my pm box here to keep everything in one place and my email to my email account... (not a deal breaker but this is a minor inconvenience for me). 3. To be in the spirit of what I read the marketplace rules to be, each listing should have a buy it now...some price with which the seller will end the auction and the boardie wins the book (this seems to be the case in the listing linked above). 4. Similar to number three, only board members would be allowed to bid (the exclusive offering rule). I believe this again is the case here as he mentioned the auction was developed specifically for the marketplace threads. Overall, I would probably give placing a bid it a try if it winds up being permissable from the mods point of view...

Thanks go out to DiceX for a gorgeous ASM #300...great packaging and insanely fast shipping And double kudos to Filter81 for two books...ASMs 43 and 59...and when this man offers a freebie he means business...lovin' the Thor slab...
