NoIs there any way of a CGC witness/representative holding onto a book signed at one convention for a couple months and sending it to another witness/representative to get it signed at another one before submitting?I'm asking because I'm planning on getting a Nightmare on Elm Street magazine signed by Joe Jusko at Big Wow, but I'd like to get it signed by Robert Englund also, and it seems unlikely that it would be back from CGC in time to send it to someone in Canada to get it signed by Englund in August.

I'm not as gaga over the 227 as everyone else seems to be. I personally prefer 232 and 237. Actually just picked up a National Bookstore 237, it's supposed to be VF+ but I won't know for sure until it arrives.FANTASTIC loven your CGC copy Like to do the same thing with one of my copies -

There's just something about Wrightson's work in black & white that makes me allJust in case anyone is intersted.... here is the inside of a Gigant #2 Swedish Swamp Thing I got for my buddy Tim.... Id never really checked out the insides of a Gigant before so I figured I would share the results. All black and White inside and pretty decent print quality and paper stock.... -

There... I fixed that for you. (thumbs uMaybe I should post a link here whenever I’ll start a new sales thread. -
Don't worry... I'm not after it. (thumbs u
I know what book you're referring to.In exactly 2 days and 1 hour i will score a rare book,Most shocking to me the book itself doesn't have the key words to actually locate it properly in Ebay.
If the seller listed it by its correct US version it would definitely sell more than $9.99
no one in this forum has the book...
"Thats all I have to say about that" - Forrest Gump
Really? They're the first appearances of Brainiac and Bizarro. Are these early supes key for whatever reason?Ahhhhhhh...... Shows what I know???
I'm curious tony, can't wait to see it!

That copy of Action 242 just sold on ebay within the last week, if memory serves it went for about $25. $50 seems high to me considering the tape on the spine.Hey guys, what would be the estimated value of those?Seller wants $50 each, is it fair? Too much? A bargain?

That looks tasty. Something thought so anyway.Six different now: Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Israel, Greece and Greece. Searching for issues from Colombia (Greco #27) and Mexico (Macc #4, that one was sold on eBay some time ago, I lost). Of the two greek versions, the first one (lower right) is the best, it's in color. The second version is black-and-white and also the epilogue page is omitted. Blasphemy! This is a hell of a set by the way! Damn if those damn South african supercomix were not so damn hard to source.... this book which is a scan BTW would top off that set like a cherry on a slice of cake....

So you're the one that bought them. I almost hit the BiN myself.Got these in yesterday:Both are in great condition, #282 is one of the best greek copies I have seen. It is unusual to find them in better than FN condition.

1) I don't know where "over here" is.Oh will you stop it - no ones going to jail here and these are (although cute chicks) older than 18, this was just a spare of the moment post, I was obviously inspired by the events that took place.. chick's are blurred, so nobody's privacy is at stake..And btw i would never do anything like that over here, where i come from, rats sleep with the fish if you know what i mean
2) I don't know you and your post definitely came across like" PM me for naked pictures of a girl!"
Just saying.

Yeah... I don't think I'd be distributing pictures like that without knowing her age. Actually I don't think I'd be sending them out at all, I'm sure that's not what she had in mind when they were taken. Granted it's always a possibility for them to hit the net but it's kind of in poor taste to share other people's private pics regardless of how you came by them.

That you might be able to find. If nothing else there's always the DC Showcase TPBs, I don't know if they've gotten around to doing Unexpected but I highly recommend the House of Mystery and House of Secrets volumes. (thumbs uOh, I meant the US title, Unexpected. See how I keep messing up on this thread?

That looks familiar. I'm sure I've seen that cover before.OK, no talk about pretty girls here unless they are tied up and at knife point with a drooling maniac, or walking the streets with a vampire lurking behind her.Is this better?
We're getting there. Wow leave this thread for weeks and no posts.

Yep... completely missed it.I think you miss my joke!Brazil... Waxing... thinner....

The Brazillian Ebal books are printed on better quality paper than even the US editions of the time period and the covers are almost a card stock quality similar to the deluxe format i.e. The Dark Knight Returns. As far as the em cores (all color) books go the cover stock is of a heavy quality with a high gloss finish, probably at least twice as thick (maybe more) than a modern paperback book. Ebal definitely produced a high quality product. The problem with the majority of them when you find them is that the staples are badly rusted. I don't know if this is due to them being of a poor quality or because of the fact that most of them sat around in Brazil for so many years which is just about all rain forest. Even the ones exported to Portugal suffer from this most of the time.I personally thought that the Brazil copy would have been a lot thinner. My point is... if you ever see one of these books in person you'd have a better understanding of just how high the quality level on them was, far superior to anything anyone else was publishing at the time.
