  1. Can anyone (most probably LSComics) :) help me identify what numbers of Historias Fantásticas these are. Thanx in advance.

    I am not too sure on the first, but the 2nd, 3rd, 4th ~~ 299, 297, 280

The first one is #311. lol

Thanks again guys! Hector, can you confirm 297? the web page at Bauldelcomic.com lists that one as a Teen Titans reprint. They might wrong, though.

hm .well....there is one for sale from Pedro here:

He had a nicer one listed but someone bought it. :gossip:

I can't imagine who that would be.

  2. I hope you people are happy, I just spent the free time on my only day off in two weeks to update this list.

    lol

Seriously, Terminator and X-Files fans need to check out the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo. Linda Hamilton, Michael Biehn, Robert Patrick, Mitch Pileggi, and Gillian Anderson are all slated to appear. While Gillian Anderson has been appearing more and more often, the rest are still making fairly obscure appearances.

And that's why we love you Doug. :applause:
  3. Very nice. I love the one from Brazil. I don't like title banners, and I think it's great that the art goes all the way to the top edge on that one.

I am guessing it's super rare?

In general the Ebal books from Brazil are kind of a pain to get a hold of. The ebay equivalent there, Mercado Livre, seems to block communications from outside the country. On top of that many sellers in South America seem to be unwilling to ship outside their countries. With a lot of patience and time though they can be had.
  4. Love the Israeli Spidey, I’d love to know if they published some FF there.

    From which period?

It's early '80s from what I can decipher. There doesn't seem to have been any order to what issues they published. The #1 reprints ASM 1 & 2, the #7 reprints ASM 122 (obviously) and the seller had (it sold to someone else) #6 which reprinted ASM 120. I haven't been able to find any more info on what else was included in the run though. I'm assuming ASM 121 is in there? Possibly ASM 129? (shrug)
  5. I was looking through Photobucket yesterday and decided to move the scans of my SS foreign books into the same folder with the rest of my foreign editions. It just seemed a little awkward to have them separated since I don't have that many US SS books left (54). This brings the current number of pics in that folder to 507 and I've still got a whole bunch of stuff on the way. Here's a link for anyone that hasn't looked recently or at all. (thumbs u

    Foreign Editions

After carefully looking through every book and title, differentiating their quality, sorting through your various types of Signatures and their particular placement, the grades, the books you specifically chose to get signed, the countries that you have managed to find for certain issues, and of course, the sheer amount of volume per genre...I have come to one conclusion...only one.......

    one...we have no life....

    I can't argue that. :roflmao:

    I've thought about that. hm

    FOREIGN COMMMMIIIIICCCCSSSSS!!!! :pullhair:
Not sure what you're getting at here. Do you not like them? Don't collect them? Frustrated because you can't find the ones you're looking for? (shrug)
  8. An ASM 361 9.9 sold for 2700 on clink last month.
    :screwy:

At the beginning of the auction it was the only 9.9. By the end that octuplet ss 361 9.9 had hit the census. I wondered if the bidders knew that.

I'm guessing they didn't. If they did I wouldn't think the bidding would've gone anywhere near that high. I'll never understand the rational behind paying that amount of money for a modern book whether it's 9.8, 9.9 or 10.0 (shrug)
