  1. Nice sir! Looks like you got it covered.... do you collect a lot of dif foreign WD? Country wise? hm

Nope, these are my first and probably my last foreign books.

You may think that now but I said pretty much the same thing about three years ago. Once the foreign bug bites you you'll find yourself looking for more and more. (thumbs u

Wow, great post and thread...I'm still not thru all of it..I love a lot of foreign variants. I'm actually trying to find one right now, been looking for it for like ten years. lol an ultimate xmen 3 euro edition with a gabe dell'otto slip cover of wolverine. Two versions were produced, a color (mostly red) and a sketch. I want either, or both. lol great looking cover. And it was done before dell'otto got popular here. Please if anyone has one and might part with it let me know. Any condition from cgc to reader...
I'm happy to see more and more people taking an interest in foreign editions. It's interesting how much traffic from newly interested parties we've seen in the thread in the recent months.

I met Tony awhile back when someone told me that some crazy guy had listed his entire 227 Bats set on EBay? I was like what? Then checked out the auction and thankfully it didn’t sell. I knew anyone that had found a way to pick up the entire known 227 set at that time had to have the same screw loose as many of us…. :screwy:

I contacted Tony AKA Solorcadet and was immediately taken with his passion for this niche. We have since become friends, and man his sets continue to grow with amazing speed. Let me be the first to congragulate Tony in having a portion of his collection showcased at the collectingsuperman.com site! :applause::applause: (thumbs u

Oh Snap! They are CGC'ed! :o(worship)

Have you never caught the link to my Photobucket when I posted it? Here it is if you'd like to check it out, everything is broken down by title and there's some foreign SS books in there. (thumbs u

  3. Yes, the Alan Class reprints started, as far as I know, about a year or two after the titles were initially released. There was also another company, L. Miller & Co (later & Sons) that published some too. Here's pics of the ones I have the first one reprints AF 15 but not the cover, I kind of stick to keys with them.

That MTU 3 is great, Morbius has always been one of my favorite characters. (thumbs u

Hey Tim.... this might sound like a stupid question? So did you have Marvel UK pence copies and these books on the shelf around the same time? I cant remember how far back the pence copies go? hm

Pence copies would have been on the racks at the same time as the US editions, they were printed at the same time. The Alan Class and L. Miller books, as far as I can tell, came out anywhere from six months to a year later. It's hard to be sure because they didn't actually have publication dates printed in them. :screwy:
