  1. I've seen them listed on Mercado Libre from time to time ranging anywhere from $50 to as high as $200.
  2. Perhaps everyone should just stop trying to put labels on everything and just appreciate each book for what it is.
  3. I have to say... that Japanese Cap #111 would look great next to my Mexican and South African ones.
  4. A few things that made their way to Indiana recently.
  5. Disclaimer: This post is not intended to offend anyone and is not directed at anyone specifically. From a completely outside perspective on the matter... no, I (and I'm sure a lot of others) don't want to get involved. It is what it is and is irrelevant to why a lot of people come to the boards. Some of you are taking it far more seriously than you should and others aren't taking it seriously enough. Plain and simple, if you don't feel like you want to deal with/talk to Rupp because of this then put him on ignore and let this topic die quietly. If you truly think he needs some sort of therapy then reach out to him and suggest it rationally. No one responds to accusations well whether they're guilty or innocent. IMO it just looks like a whole lot of the same old tired cliques bickering back and forth, this time about something that was perhaps done in poor taste but didn't cause actual harm to anyone. And for anyone that wants to claim mental anguish, well... grow up you're an adult, get over it. These things weren't posted here, if you wanted to see them you had to make an effort to seek them out. Just saying.
  6. Here's a couple of things that came in over the last few days... ASM #102/103 from Spain. There might be a #101 on it's way too. At least that's what I heard. One of those those original Spideys from Mexico. Iron Man #54/55 from Spain. It took me about 2 years to find any copy of this book. It's rough, loose cover, pages in danger of becoming loose, but it's the only one I've seen. Huge props to our very own Gonza_Arana (Manuel) for this one, I owe you for this one. This brings me to only needing 2 more House of Mystery books to finish the run.
  7. His eyes are bigger than his wallet. Plus he has the problem of regularly talking himself out of buying stuff. He's still an alright guy though I guess.
  8. Will do, when I get it. (thumbs u I’d also like to open a similar discussion for foreign editions in Golden Age – an acquaintance of mine just acquired some early Batman and Centaur books from the late 1930s and 1944-45, super-rare stuff and the very early publications of comic book material here. Done!
  9. Can't say that I've sen another one but that seems to be the case with the majority of the NB, Goodwill and Alemar books. You'll see one, maybe two if you do some digging but they don't appear to be abundant.
  10. I just scored two NB books, they should be here by the end of the week. I'll post pics when they arrive.
  11. I thought about adding one in GA but didn't think any of us really played in that sandbox enough to justify it.
  12. Since not everyone ventures into Comic General I went ahead and created threads in Silver and Bronze to go with the one in Copper. Here's the links: Silver Age Bronze Age
  13. They do indeed. I've got a bunch of Signature Series foreign editions on my site. Link
