  1. I picked one up at Ikea a year or so ago that I'm happy with. I think it's called a "Billy" and it's a little over 6'-0 high with glass doors. I just took a couple pics of it with the right door open (because of glare). A couple shelves are set in place but I bought 2 (I think) extra shelves and was able to space them out to be able to get 8 rows of pb's. I counted one row and it has 66 in it. The shelves are about 10 1/4" deep.
  2. I've had this painting for 3 or 4 years but still haven't been able to find a nice looking VF copy of the original 1955 comic (35 cent cover price).
  3. A few more Treasure Chest's. The earliest I own is V1#2. The 2nd appearance of Chuck White, who I believe had stories in every issue. He's got to be high on the list of least known, long running characters.
  4. Not sure where else to post these books so I'll revive this old thread. This series ran for 27 years and almost 500 issues. Starting in the 4th year they moved from newsprint to glossy covers.
  5. Nice one. I wonder if a psychiatrist ran off with Nixon's wife or something.
  6. Another great bunch of books. The Battlefront #26 is on my short list of favorite war covers and your copy is by far the best I've ever seen.
  7. I agree. I also didn't know that she's the one that did the colors on the reprint (assuming you mean the one with a white ceiling and light blue or grey walls).
  8. One of my favorite Craig covers. I love the perspective and the uncommon color scheme. Was happy to pick this one up in an "October" thread a year and a half ago.
  9. Also, a two page Heath and Stan Lee story from Western Gunfighters #25.
  10. I especially like the night scenes from the Rangeland Love #1 above. Here are some more I posted a few years ago but think they belong in this thread too. The first 3 are from Rangeland Love #2 that Boot mentioned and the last 2 are from Tex Taylor #9.
  11. That's great to know, thanks. And thanks again for the book. I just checked my old pm's and see I bought the 5.0 from you a year and a half ago on the boards.
  12. Another great post Andy, and I'm not remotely surprised you own that beaut. I know I've seen a 3rd copy with those pink letters somewhere and it's going to bug me until I find out where. Like you mentioned, the combination of high quality and low quantity make the Orbit romance books fun to collect. I'm sure the only way I'll ever get really nice copies though, is to luck into an ebay BIN.
  13. Love Journal #15 with John Buscema cover. I usually get rid of my undercopies, but for some reason I'm compelled to hoard this issue. I cracked out a CGC 4.5 and 5.0 but there's a 6.0 out there somewhere that I'd like to free. If my memory isn't playing tricks on me, it has the same "Cb" (or is it "Ch"?) written in pink that my copies have.
  14. Slowly picking up the non-photo cover issues in this title but gave up looking for high grade copies a long time ago. #42 and #43.
  15. A couple war books. Happy to finally get the #18.
  16. A recent Avon pick-up. I didn't see any graffiti on Ringo's grave when I visited it about 20 years ago but I did see that someone carved "I'm your Huckleberry" on the iron fence around Doc Holliday's grave.
  17. Some of my favorite Heath westerns. Thanks jimbo.
  18. Heath is one of my favorites and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing buttock post all the Atlas war covers.
