  1. Great books there, Pat. I've never even seen most of those before.
  2. Definitely. That would be a tough but great set of books to complete.
  3. Another Kinstler that came to mind.
  4. Some Zane Grey Four Color's with Mo Gollub front and back covers.
  5. Some random Four Color's I don't think I've posted before.
  6. Good luck with the channel. I've seen 4 or 5 of the interviews so far and really liked them all. If you're taking requests, I'd like to see a weekly segment with Andy and Kiss's Calling Doctor Love as his intro music.
  7. Thanks for the head's up AS and as PopKulture mentioned above, I appreciate the effort that went into these. And what kind of top 100 list would it be if you couldn't blurt out "ugh" or "what the hell?" more than a few times? I liked seeing so many cool books on the big screen and I'm looking forward to seeing the 1-100 War books by the same person.
  8. Thanks and for some reason I thought you read all of his books. I think I've read 13 of his so far and will try to stick to only reading 3 or 4 a year since I know It'll be depressing when I've finished them all. Though I'll be kicking myself if I don't live another 15 years.
  9. Some random additions to the collection. I read MacDonald's The End of the Night a few months ago and really liked it. The feel and pace of it reminded me a lot of Capote's In Cold Blood
  10. Love it and it would have been great to have met him and get a Ghost Rider sketch or some commissioned art. In 1991 though, I probably would have just asked him if he could make me a Wolverine sketch and moved on to the next artist.
  11. A couple more TFT's. I'm a sucker for a sad dog story, so Hungnam! is my favorite in #26. Not the prettiest example of the splash page though, with the ink transfer and off register colors.
  12. Here's a book that I didn't know was a Johnson cover until reading the article. I knew he could paint beautiful women but didn't know he was also a master of the creepy pervert.
  13. Congratulations on the article SA. I just finished reading it yesterday and really enjoyed it. With so many great covers, his work really deserves that spotlight. Looking forward to seeing the replay of the livestream on Youtube.
  14. Here's the first page of Vault #37 introducing Drusilla. Mentioned above by KirbyJack and noted in Overstreet as Drusilla's first appearance, but the Vault Keeper implies in the word balloon that she's appeared before. Did Drusilla have minor appearances before and this is the first appearance as a host or is VK just full of crap?
  15. I pick up a new guide every 2 or 3 years. Obviously not as relevant as it was but I still get decent use out of it for the books I collect and getting one gives me a little reminder of how excited I used to get when the new one came out. #11 (L.B. Cole) was my first. What really bugs me every year is that Star Ranger #1 is listed as the "first western comic" (along with Western Picture Stories #1) but is still not listed in the Western Top 10. I'm sure adamstrange gets really irritated that his best comic doesn't get the recognition it deserves.
