  1. Tarzan's Jungle Annual #1. A 100 pager full of Jesse Marsh Tarzan with a Mo Gollub cover. Looking forward to reading #2.
  2. Not the kind of stuff I usually collect but I couldn't resist this Severin cover.
  3. Who do you mean? That's a nice looking Kid Colt. There are so many great Maneely, Heath, Severin, etc... covers, I think you'll have a problem stopping at two.
  4. Crack Western #71. Reed Crandall splash. Harry Anderson splash. The middle right panel of this Anderson page is really bugging me. The image looks very familiar but I can't place it. Maybe I just saw someone post it before?
  5. A bunch of great Adventure's being posted but I especially love the Sandman covers. This is beaut.
  6. A couple of books at the opposite ends of the publishing spectrum. A just cracked out Fox book and a Dell book. I haven't read the Gunsmoke yet, but I'm pretty confident there's not a lot of killing of women and children in it.
  7. I like this colorful back cover of the FC #299.
  8. Some great covers in that Prize Western run, Scrooge. Glancing through GCD, it looks like Severin did 2 or 3 stories in a lot of those issues. Definitely something to look forward to reading someday. These two are probably my favorites of the ones you posted. # 98 # 106
  9. Thanks, Jimbo I'd collect Atlas books for the covers alone, but the interior pages that board members (you, Scrooge, etc...) post make it so I crack out every slab I get. I just need to try to scan the full page next time.
  10. I really like this Everett cover. I just read this book this morning and this center panel instantly reminded me of Spider-Man.
  11. I'd never heard of Dan Zolnerowich until I started collecting Golden Age books about 5 years ago. Now he's one of my favorites and Jungle #11 is tops on my list.
  12. A great idea for a thread. Lots of cool books and interesting decisions. I'll start with Bernard Baily. So many to choose from, but an easy pick for me. My favorite PCH cover and one of the few books I HAD to get.
  13. What a great bunch of books you picked up today. I'm especially partial to the Action #23 and Adventure #51 though.
  14. Who doesn't love saloon brawl & gunfight covers? "The Fighting Cowboy" - weren't they all? Gene would consider them fighting singing words.
  15. A couple Syd Shores covers. The Black Rider has 3 Shores and one Tuska story.
  16. Yep, I won that and a few other Spirit's last night on CC. Auction fever was running high on these (along with everything else I guess). Congrats on the Spirit's. Keeping the theme of your Spirit and Dr. Love's Eisners, here's one with an "Ellen tries to get a prom date with the Spirit" story.
  17. That's too bad on the grades. At least they didn't come back plods. I got lucky with my only experience with PGX. I sent in a Weird Mysteries #4 (PGX 5.0 off-white to white) that came back from CGC the same grade and pq.
  18. That's a good one. Here's my only Cape Cod. The "nd" didn't show up well in the scan though.
