Wait, this is a pre-sale of #1?? Why not call it a reprint if its a later printing? Here we go. Is it a reprint or not?? Well the seller says its a PRE-SALE, and its RARE I guess how rare these are depends on how many four color grails sells (if it is actually their cover), but it sounds like its a variant rather than a reprint.

I had the same problem (cover rub) with an order I placed with Midtown. I sent them a picture and they told me to keep it and sent me another copy free of charge.

Anyone else notice how the Spider-Gwen blanks are not really blanks but a poor attempt at putting card stock over the cover?

I also order my copies from him, been out of town so hopefully they are at my po box Yup, he's a great seller! (thumbs u I received the 5 SG phantoms I ordered from him, Tuesday. 4 of the 5 are really nice. The 5th one has a hole-small tear on the back cover. I'm pretty certain it is production damage, and not from shipping. They're starting to arrive...

Stopped at Hastings on the way home after work and picked up 4 copies of their Spider-Gwen connecting cover variant. They had 5 or 6 left, they also had plenty of the Young and Blank variants. I also stopped at my LCS. They had the regular cover and blanks I had pre-ordered. They still had a lot of the regular cover on the shelf and I passed on the Anka at $25 (they had two copies and one had sold). No Hughes.

Amusing to see DF selling the Midtown JSC exclusive cheaper than Midtown.

Hope it's just the lighting but they don't look pink at all like in the pre-order picture. I thought the pink really made the cover pop That will be a bummer if they're not pink.

#151 and you did a great job ! Thanks and you win the "no prize"! I love the cover to 151 but I hadn't thought about how her puny arms would look compared to Spideys. Doesn't have the same powerful look. Still, it was fun and I may try and ink it one of these days.

Ok. As I said earlier, I was inspired to do my own variant/homage and keep in mind I haven't picked up a pencil in awhile. You get a "no prize" if you can guess which Spidey cover I swiped.

My goal tomorrow will be to try and find a couple of the hastings variants that aren't damaged.

I always liked Gwen and this book inspired me to break out the pencils and do my own variant/homage cover. I'm at work so I'll post it later. Just keep in mind its been awhile since I drew anything (which means try not to be too harsh -). I hope this series lives up to all the hype.

Yeah, or DKR... He may be a tad overzealous... I think its more PR for his EoSV 2 reprint than anything else. Which I'm surprised Marvel is OK with since it's "free" for $10.

If the story and artwork aren't better than silk 1 it will be a short ride.
