  1. Have a short box of moderns that I'm going to post in the modern thread in about twenty. (thumbs u
  2. Yep, paypal is the shiznit. Thinking about closing out all my other financial accounts and going strictly paypal Ever hear the phrase "you get more bee's with honey"
  3. I'm guessing that everyone that sells a large volume of stuff through eBay has had this happen. It has happened to me twice. Why wouldn't you just go through the process to verify who you are and save everyone the grief. I would see this akin to hanging up on your bank's customer service rep when they call to ask if you recently used your credit card to make a large purchase. My take has always been that this is PP's way of making sure that things are working the way that they should and that you are who you say you are. Maybe your gripes over the ASM #1 auction triggered it, maybe not. Maybe someone on that end thought you were trying to convenience the auction. Maybe this was their way of seeing if you were legit based on that. But I see your angle. Be the bull, charge ahead (no pun intended). Shame is that it’s only going to serve to ruin your ability to sell and your reputation online to those that don’t know you or only have seen your name in passing. As far as “I did not want to do business with people who treated me like a criminal without appeal”, isn’t that the way you treated PayPal? You just figured that they were out to get you because you complained/challenged. I’m guessing of the millions of transactions that they do every single day… yours was just that special to them Ever think you were overacting and it was more a case of a comedy of errors and that you should just verify the account and move on with your life? Of course maybe I’m wrong. Maybe they were out to screw with you. Maybe they wanted to jerk you around and make your experience a bad one. Maybe they wanted to hold your money and play games. Hindsight’s 20/20, eh?
  4. Going to post some TPB's in the mixed age thread. Some HC's and some SC's at decent prices.
  5. Patrick is a good to deal with, buying or selling, and an all around pleasant guy. I've had numerous transactions with him and found his grading and packaging to be top notch. (thumbs u
  6. I love this cover. Looks like Hulk has Cap right under the rib cage
  7. Boxful of mixed stuff to post later this weekend before moving to the bay on Sunday. Will try to get it up tonight and leave open until 6ish tomorrow. Included will be the mid to low grade copies of FF 48 and ST 89 that I had in the grading thread. Also included will be a few slabs, some nice raw spidey's (a nice raw 300), and some signed books (including a cheap Stan Lee Hulk). In the mixed thread about 10ish. Of course this assumes I'm still standing after the Bucks/Miami game
  8. if folks would just get a job instead of doing a lot of the things they do to obtain a little money, the country would be in a much better place
  9. $15 is a fair price for international shipping for a slab. Think he needs to go on the list.
  10. Excellent! This went to my Ebay account. So when am I adding these and how much commission am I getting? This post would do best in the Comics Market - Sales Advertising - Ebay, Dealers, etc. section. Comick1 = Bosco685 outed your own shill I don't know what you mean by that. Ain't no shills. I don't understand. I can't be sure by the way it was presented, but I THINK you're saying that the link takes you (Bosco) to your own "My Ebay"?? Is that right??? When I click on that link, I go to my own "My ebay;" so there must be something pretty funky going down. Apologies for putting this in the wrong thread, though. To reiterate for those who don't get the funnies going on, I'd prefer that the word "shill" not be used in the same sentence with my name even in jest.
  11. Have a handful of beater SA/BA from a collection I just picked-up A couple of IH 181's, a couple of early ASM's, and some early JIM's. I'm going to try to get some posted tonight in between adding some more .50 books to my stalled modern thread. (thumbs u

  13. Cool Howard I can't imagine there are too many OO MMMS letters out there
  14. We all need to be more cautious of a first time poster selling books right out of the gate like this was Craig's List. Come on. This guy got a a one week strike for a smart mouth just a few posts into starting a thread. Then he comes back a week later selling groups of books. Sorry to say, I dont trust anyone unless he comes recommended or has some type of feedback. Be careful next time is all I'm saying. Glad everyone got refunded. DRX Well said.
  15. Well, you know how some lawyers can be. A couple of those guys look familiar
  16. I have about 25 super nice X-Men to list tonight. Books that I've either bought and then upgraded or decided were not high enough for my registry run. Included are really nice copies of #23, #101 and #106. Also have a bunch from #120-#155. Don't think any are below VF+, except for the #23 which is a nice VF.
  17. Andy, did these come from that collection you discovered recently? If so, WOW!! The JiM and ASM did, the Subby came off eBay from some dude that had it graded at 8.0. An ebay success story You must feel like you won the lottery (odds are about the same)
  18. Just stunning !!!!! These are ok...if you're into this sort of thing :yeahok: Super books
