  1. No need to be demeaning. I'm pretty sure he is a grown man... It's ok Paul... I can take anything this guy has to say about me and my character. Boscoe hit it on the nose that the flippant remark is exactly what got me riled. You admitted your mistake which was great, but not caring about the rules that are set in place to protect the members of this board is not the best thing to state in a post. No drama here either... only facts. Just because I call you out on the fact that you don't care about the people on this board doesn't make me a cowboy... it just lets everyone here know that should you sell them anything in the future, you really don't care if they get the item they paid for or not. Nor do you care about the rules in place to hopefully insure that you do. Why should anyone trust you? To me that makes you perfect Hall of Shame material. Honestly Thing, you don't deserve a "break" today... especially since your last one took approximatly 8 months.
  2. Got a nice run of Gen X from John. He packages well and ships fast.
  3. I've got a ton of moderns that I'll be trying to move cheap. Included will be a bunch of comics from the last couple of months, so if you missed out on a book...you may be able to find it here. 6. If you don't care about the community why follow the rules? This place is a community I thought it was just a place to come and oogle hot chicks in sig lines

  11. If the seller decides that it has caused enough difficulty/inconvenience then yes. Ultimately I think it should be left to the discretion of the wronged party. Maybe to him it was not a big deal, so he lets it slide. However, what if in those several days (or in the case of some PM deals weeks or months) the seller lost the opportunity to move the book to another party...perhaps even for more, but could not accept due to this prior committment. Ultimately the party backing out IS probation worthy in situations like this (minus extenuating circumstances such as death, personal tragedy and the like). Sometimes, due to the seller being a nice or forgiving person they do not make the list, but ultimately I feel that the seller should have that option. (thumbs u The in my mind (public or PM) is an agreement in terms being reached...not a maybe or let me think about it another week or two. It should be taken seriously with the appropriate consequences for folks who do not. And to be fair, I obviously take a similar view if the seller backs out. In that case the buyer should have the opportunity to place that individual on the probation list as well. Hard to argue with logic like this, well put Heath (Thumbs u
  12. Those attorneys are good at that Arch, I think the stuff not related directly to a transaction will dissipate once the newness of the idea is gone and folks feel as though the many many transactions that took place and where acknowledged in the old system are accounted for in the new feedback threads. I had been commenting on who I had done business with, successfully, as I saw them make their threads. Once I start making new transactions with folks, I'll mention those specifically. Although it's a good idea to link back to the transaction (I might try to do this), we are a lazy bunch (ok, maybe just me) and what your asking takes some effort. That may determine the success or lack there of
  13. Have a short box of moderns that I'm going to post in the modern thread in about twenty. (thumbs u
  14. Yep, paypal is the shiznit. Thinking about closing out all my other financial accounts and going strictly paypal Ever hear the phrase "you get more bee's with honey"
  15. I'm guessing that everyone that sells a large volume of stuff through eBay has had this happen. It has happened to me twice. Why wouldn't you just go through the process to verify who you are and save everyone the grief. I would see this akin to hanging up on your bank's customer service rep when they call to ask if you recently used your credit card to make a large purchase. My take has always been that this is PP's way of making sure that things are working the way that they should and that you are who you say you are. Maybe your gripes over the ASM #1 auction triggered it, maybe not. Maybe someone on that end thought you were trying to convenience the auction. Maybe this was their way of seeing if you were legit based on that. But I see your angle. Be the bull, charge ahead (no pun intended). Shame is that it’s only going to serve to ruin your ability to sell and your reputation online to those that don’t know you or only have seen your name in passing. As far as “I did not want to do business with people who treated me like a criminal without appeal”, isn’t that the way you treated PayPal? You just figured that they were out to get you because you complained/challenged. I’m guessing of the millions of transactions that they do every single day… yours was just that special to them Ever think you were overacting and it was more a case of a comedy of errors and that you should just verify the account and move on with your life? Of course maybe I’m wrong. Maybe they were out to screw with you. Maybe they wanted to jerk you around and make your experience a bad one. Maybe they wanted to hold your money and play games. Hindsight’s 20/20, eh?
  16. Going to post some TPB's in the mixed age thread. Some HC's and some SC's at decent prices.
  17. Patrick is a good to deal with, buying or selling, and an all around pleasant guy. I've had numerous transactions with him and found his grading and packaging to be top notch. (thumbs u
  18. I love this cover. Looks like Hulk has Cap right under the rib cage
  19. Boxful of mixed stuff to post later this weekend before moving to the bay on Sunday. Will try to get it up tonight and leave open until 6ish tomorrow. Included will be the mid to low grade copies of FF 48 and ST 89 that I had in the grading thread. Also included will be a few slabs, some nice raw spidey's (a nice raw 300), and some signed books (including a cheap Stan Lee Hulk). In the mixed thread about 10ish. Of course this assumes I'm still standing after the Bucks/Miami game
  20. if folks would just get a job instead of doing a lot of the things they do to obtain a little money, the country would be in a much better place
