  1. Hi I had a slab fall and the corner is shattered. When I submit for a reholdering do I leave it as is in the broken holder and let CGC remove it in house? Thanks in advance for the information!
  2. It's kind of buried in the announcement but you can package the signatures, but to add remarks, I would contact the SS department for clarification. The CGC In-House Private Signing fee for Dan Slott, Humberto Ramos and Edgar Delgado is $120 per item and includes: Dan Slott’s signature Humberto Ramos’ signature Edgar Delgado’s signature
  3. I sent in a dozen books for a 9.8 pre-screen for press and encapsulation 6 were border line 9.8s hence the pressing. All but one came back with color breaks on the spine. I would never submit a comic for a pre-screen with color breaks. Maybe one slipped in with the rest sure why not, but 11 comics? sorry, but no. I will never have them press a comic again.
  4. My LCS has a section dedicated to this very subject :-)
  5. My crown jewel! Spider-Gwen #! Sketched and signed by Nathan Szerdy!
  6. Thanks for all the feedback, unfortunately I do not have any detailed before pictures as I just documented what I was sending. That's on me, live and learn.
  7. I submitted 10 comics to CGC for a 9.8 prescreen. 5 of the comics were slam sunk 9.8s and 5 were borderline and none of them had any color breaks at all anywhere. so I decided to have them pressed before grading. Only two were slabbed 8 were rejected, when I got them back the 8 rejects were riddled with color breaking spine ticks. i mean like a half dozen color breaks. It looks like they were pressed but not humidified during the pressing. that is only a guess, I'm just thinking of the physics of the process, but I don't know. Has anyone else had their books wrecked like this? Not sure what I want them to do, it's not like they can fix them. I'm just so disappointed.
  8. So if you have 25 books for pre-screen, and want 3 of them pressed, is that possible or will all 25 books be pressed?
