  1. Good catch. That's cheap, but what about that expensive Adventure comic.
  2. Three will be a company. I wonder what grade your number 4 is, such a cool book.
  3. I hope you and Ryan both resolved to pump harder in 2011. That's what she said
  4. I hope you and Ryan both resolved to pump harder in 2011. The sentiment for Green Lantern has been positive last two years...and hoping it continues. I wish I had a decent run of GL 1-10, but not much. I envy those who have them here.
  5. All nice stuff here. If the Green Lantern enterprise becomes fully mainstream, it's party time.
  6. I bet most of us boardies gets attracted to cool comics. Comics and chicks...great combination. Of course, it would be cool to have all of the above...but nothing will ever be enough to some.
  7. Well, at least comics can be wise investment and better than blowing away money on a depreciating sport car. How about tolerating all that shopping.
  8. After a while it can get redundant for her, but she needs to understand one's love for funny books.
  9. 30 year, zero down, fixed rate, and lifetime Disneyland passes should do it (thumbs u I say make the loan now before interest rate goes up. Well, at least Dark Knight does not have to pay property taxes...but insurance though. can't wait to see the pic of Pre Robins with the 4.0 Tec 27 in it DK He earned it.

  11. Great, just when I thought mine would be the only low grade slab on eBay But your copy is priced well and to move. I bet with some resto removal, it might garner a 1.5 blue label grade (thumbs u Hope so, it would be nice to show my wife I can actually turn a profit with these comics she disapproves of so vehemently I hope so.
  12. With SC4 as old as it is, LT/OW is not too much of a deal. At least you're a member. (thumbs u

  14. Showcase 22 CGC 2.5 off-white pages http://cgi.ebay.com/Showcase-22-CGC-2-5-/150543234845?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item230d13771d
  15. You've been gone so long, but you are coming in full force to display all you cool books.
  16. That's a unique copy. Really cool and it's great you slabbed it.
  17. Cool. What's the grade 3.5. Yep 3.5 ow Sweet! I'm amazed on how you shift your collection to your content.
  18. There is no such thing currently. Therefore B&B 28 in 9.4 continues to be the 3rd most valuable SA DC book, behind the 9.6 and 9.4 copies of Showcase 4. Would a 9.4 SC #22 top a 9.4 SC #4 right now is the bigger question in my mind. With the emergence of the 9.6 I doubt that a 9.4 SC #4 would come anywhere close to its high price now. FWIW, I expect SC #22 to eventually end up as #1 if the GL movie franchise does well. Given that Showcase 4 predated 22 by three important years and is widely regarded as raising the curtain on the Silver Age, I'd say that Showcase 4 in the same grade will continue to elicit higher bids than Showcase 22. And I'm saying this even though Green Lantern is my favourite hero. Showcase 4 has its' days in the 80's and 90's. It reminds me of Whiz #2. I'm sure 10-20 years from now, we can SC22 has its' time in 10's and 20's.
  19. Trimming is all or nothing, there is no slightly What the seller might be trying to say is that it was a bad microtrim job that CGC detected. A "bad job". The seller is wacking the census with new plods. I just don't trust plod census numbers anymore.
  20. I saw the disclosure, but didn't see it was cdpaoli. I guess this is another handle he uses? I took it as the seller wasn't sure if it was trimmed, but if it's really "him" then it likely was. The concensus is that this is most likely a new Ebay Id of theirs from a satellite location,in northern cali...maybe a friend/family members unused ebay id,ect...but it smells of the said scammers... Yeah...a scammer with a lot of alias. Hope his margins continue to shrink.
  21. cdpaoli again. The seller did disclosed it might look slightly trimmed. How does he know that, probably bought a trimmed copy and crack it open.
