  1. Nice! Looks like your books has been graded already and you can call in for the grades. (thumbs u
  2. Wow...over copy 7.0+ Someday when i make it up to Gainsville,I will dig all of my good stuff out of the A/C storage and give them a proper home again...there's just no room in this little beach cottage for anything more than a small revolving collection to survive a 9yr old,puppy,girlfriend,ect,ect....i'm lucky I have a corner display cabinet with a dozen books on it. and their well preserved and not in the attic. I'm thinking about upgrading my GL1, but not sure yet or maybe add a second copy.
  3. My undercopy! and your copy must be a 9.8 white. That 9.6 is nice copy too. It is and I'd post a scan if I had one handy. It's really amazing to hold or see a SA in 9.8. The requirements for 9.8 makes it the leader of the pack (my little girl's favorite song right now).

  5. Time will tell, but I think SC #22 has more staying power price wise for the simple fact that DC keys, except for SC #4, had/have not had their big jump in prices yet. FWIW, it was an above guide book for 6.0 and higher copies prior to the big run up a year or so ago. I do expect it to pull back after the movie regardless of how the flick does just like most other movie related keys have done, but the days of paying sub $1500 prices for 5.0s are long gone now unfortunately. Yeah...the days of the $1500 5.0's are over...I was too early on one of my 5.0 copy about two years ago. Selling out too early on SC22 has proven to be a mistake. I agree, like any key after the movie, it normally stays down a little and be dormant for a bit. It's going to be hard to find a graded 6.0 anything under $4K now, unless someone price it at guide.
  6. I bet the delay is because of the "Savannah" collection.
  7. It can be expensive to buy points to stay in the top 100. and when you get your SC22, it will be a big boost. Yeah, since it's now paid for, i added it to my Registry and it bumped me back into the top 100. If the 35 books i have at CGC ever get graded finally and returned, i should be safe without having to spend any $$$. 33 business days and counting and still just "verified" They've received the 22, that's awesome! For the comics you submitted, 33 business days already...value or economy If you went for economy over value, it would normally be more expedited. Also, you normally have to wait another two weeks before the books hit your doorstep to enter those earned points, but if you want to know the grades after it's graded, CGC would gladly offer them to you. I know how you feel and especially the anticipations of the grades...really fun though. (thumbs u
  8. Purchased a ASM28 from Don and it brought back my youth. Don is first class to deal with.

  10. Well, at least the S22-24 registry recipients gain wealth the last 24 hours.
  11. Had no idea my set was 5th... There must have been a lot of people selling off books for that to happen (thumbs u You should be 4th now, since the 4th place person did sell a few of those books a while back. (thumbs u
  12. Just more drek like those books in your sig line.............. Only three more days and something NOT as boring.
  13. Nothing like Ryan's. Here's some cool Green Lantern books.
  14. I and others have requested CGC to change the score points for Showcase comics since it's undervalue and how popular Green Lantern is too. I have noticed the changes today. The SC22-24 set got a bump in points for everyone.
  15. Really??? I never saw that on CLinks site before. Dang, that would have saved me a LOT of money in the November auction! You could have bought more comics with that extra muala. (thumbs u
  16. Maybe it`s just me, but I don`t think it`s such a great copy. I was thinking the same thing. I recall your copy is really bright and the PQ is really nice. Very unique copy. Good memory. Yes, I am happy with my copy. It came from a small collection in Canada, submitted by me, CGC 7.5 White. Though they didn't get the uber grades most of the books from this collection had White pages. From this same collection I also have a JLA 3 in CGC 7.5 White, GL 8 in CGC 8.0 White, and an X-Men 2 CGC 8.5 White. Gotta love that cool Canadian air ! That's some great stuff in that collection "white" . Definitely, cooler weather is better than hot and humid.
  17. Maybe it`s just me, but I don`t think it`s such a great copy. Since you have owned a 9.4, I can totally understand and respect that. There are a few small chips on the back cover of this copy. It has nothing to do with having owned a 9.4. I would never criticize an 8.0 copy because it doesn`t look as nice as a 9.4 copy. What would be the point? Do you genuinely not see the fugly miswrap on the book? Yeah, that miswrap can be a turn-off.
  18. If you pay buy non-credit cards next time, there will be no buyer's premium. But of course, whatever is more convenient for you.
