  1. have you seen his avatar Some will eventually go on 7/11.
  2. Will look great with my 23 7.5. Now you just need a 24? How high is/are your 24(s)? I feel very strongly with SC22 and my highest 24 is 8.0.
  3. Will look great with my 23 7.5. You got that one also?!? Congrats! My max bid was $12600 and sorry to outbid sufunk.
  4. Did I if ever tell you I find your Wonder Woman comics to be quite stunning.
  5. That's a little over my threshold for thrill-bids Five figure funny book.
  6. The off-whites pages is a plus for this copy. Needs to break $12601.
  7. Wonder where those books are now? And the Beth books? What did the books sell for?I can't find any info. also... 3 hrs left on the 7.5 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=310276350931&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT The Four Color GL 22 9.0 $20250, 23 9.4 $15928, 24 9.0 $3600. The best graded set in the world. (thumbs u WOW..can only imagine what they would sell for today. I estimate the three would probably fetch in the neighborhood of six figures in today's market.

  9. anyone? Anyone? Western Penn hidden somewhere out there. I imagine there has to be a Bethlehem copy also but out of sight out of mind. The Western Penn 22, 23, 24 sold as a group for $1000 in 1988 to a west coast collector. Tom That is a bargain Not in 1988 it wasn`t. I saw the Bethlehem copies of 22 - 24 back in about 1996. I think the 22 was 8.0ish with the 23 and 24 much nicer. The 24 was graded 9.0 by CGC. For some reason I thought the 23 was an 8.0. Comiclink 23 copy 9.0,recent Ebay 9.0, and Bethlehem 9.0. That's must be all the 9.0's. Something doesn't make sense there. My bad typo...I meant 24. It will be interesting to find more info or images of the Bethlehem 22 and 23.
  10. we are faa-mil-y...! I got all my sistas and me! That's a truly amazing group of books you have there..me drooling a bit too much.
  11. Better do it now before the prices really take off next spring prior to the movie. Jump on the train and join the party...

  13. Bought a Strange Tales Ann 2 in PGX 8.0. Broke it open and a one inch corner was missing on the splash page. No notes, no apology, just a total screwing without the kissing. That s****. Every time I see a PGX book, I knock it down at least two grades.
  14. There tends to be enough to choose from that if you are a PQ snob you can wait for an OW-W or White example to come along. I agree. SA Marvels are much easier to find in better PQ than DC, so better PQ should add a little.
  15. with that fading, I would have a hard time calling it higher I was wondering if it was faded or the scan was not leveled correctly Still looks very nice, just hope CGG didn't overlook any resto. I think you mean PGX Yes, that OTHER company. (thumbs u

  17. My guess is the Savannah 23 is a 4.0 and the 24 is a 8.5.
  18. Still looks great! think I have a few ASM like that too. I have notice most of the ASM collectors on this boards are purchasing PQ with off-white to white and white pages.
  19. Wow...new to the census. Nice! Do you know who owns this copy? Thanks. Savannah collection news: http://www.cgccomics.com/news/viewarticle.aspx?NewsletterNewsArticleID=1002 (thumbs u Looks like when superheroes got revived, the original owner began this massive collection. I'm sure lots of collectors are excited and hope to add some to there collection.
  20. this is the CGC boards, not that other company...no need to post that pic here now, crack it and submit it to the authority on grading, and it would be a pleasure to see it here (thumbs u AND..........as a warning, don't expect the same grade. Seldom does and mostly lower.
