Personal stuff aside...from that scan the book does not look to be a 9.8. I know you didn't solicit opinions on your grading, but since you're posting your completed auctions I think it makes it fair game within reason

There is a F19 9.0 that sold for 600.00 early august and one that sold for 400.00 2 weeks ago.. but something tells me thats not gonna please you either. Where are you getting your data? Wow that doesn't seem right. I think I would call to be refunded the $50 extra you paid since it more of the value TAT than value fast track. I don't buy it. My last VFT was received by CGC in early August and they told me yesterday it'll ship sometime next week. The sub before that was VFT and took around 5-6 weeks. Why is he so special that his VFT is taking 3 months? Maybe it didn't get FTed? Regular value takes about 3 months, so that'd be about right. Maybe...but he said they were VFT

You have seen what I have asked, and your post is not intelligible as you think it is. If you want to reply, good, otherwise I think I will pretty much skip your "smart" posts from now on. Personally, I don't think the 'swipe' at Chip's financial situation is very nice. (thumbs u Personally, I don't care for sellers who use it as a selling tool There are probably a hundred posts a month in the selling forums about "oops, money is tight" or "I've overspent" or "I need to take my pet to the vet". Is that any different? I agree that playing people's emotions for profit is not the way to go, but I'm not sure he did that. He did offer to work for his money by selling on consignment for boardies (and he even advertised it in the appropriate forums ) but it's just human nature to look for some commiseration or empathy. Did he actually abuse that? I don't know - I haven't followed many of his posts. I think it is different. A one time " hey, I'm moving and need some extra money" is a lot different than a selling campaign based on always being tight and having to support your family. I feel less sorry for that person when they announce over 100K in Ebay sales.

It may be rude, but aside from the trimming, the business model is not too far off. Overgrade, but have an awesome return policy. Hope enough people who don't know how to grade well buy your books and are satisfied.

Wow, that's exactly what happened. Oh, NOW we're going to start worrying about proof about what's happening around here? C'mon dude, there was no angry mob, there was no witch hunt. Something came up that was questionable and he came along and gave some answers. I wasn't personally satisfied with them, but I don't think it's really a punishable offense. It's something that just deserves a mental note for future reference.
