it will be to watch all the actions unfold on all of these books. At least for me since it is my only grail. The 9.0 already surpassed my rediculous low ball OSPG bid I don't know what is better or worse for both sellers and potential buyers. Be the first or be the last since the potential pool of buyers are so limited and the choices are so plentiful.

add X-men#1 9.4 at CL feb auction along with the 9.2 that is already there. They are coming out fast & furious 1 9.0 2 9.2 1 9.4, all in the next 30 days! so many choices, so not enough money to chase them all.

nice books... in fact X-men 21 is the book that got me started in the high grade addiction to SA. I remembered buying a copy and it was so white, no clean back in the late 80's....20 plus years later, I just got it graded back in 10/08 and it came back 8.5 white page

I will sell my entire run of raw FF from 40 to 150. All together about 70 plus copies mostly in mid grades with some gems 9.0 plus. Pm me if you have any questions. Most likely Sunday night when I have a chance to upload 70 scans.

I figured some of you guys would not like the idea of the "cut out" I have found the best option to enjoy the sig. I will get a frame big enough to fit the book opened. Any suggestions on what I can stick in the frame to slow down the degradations of this book. It is not brittle but as you can see from the pic, other things are "growing".

thanks. I can't believe I had it for all these years. This book was given to me for free when I bought a better copy years ago at a convention. I remembered buying a mid grade raw comic and I was haggling the price with the dealer and I think he threw this water damaged copy as a freebie for the full price on the better copy. I think he had a box full of water damaged stuff that that he was giving away. I never even bothered to open the book for almost 30 years until now. I was just about to throw it out and decided to flip thru it to see how badly the water damage was and wowza.

I was going thru my old FF low/mid grade box of readers and I was just about to toss this water damaged issue but I flipped open and see the sig...no idea if it is real but I might just cut out the page and frame the splash page

nothing special but i didn't realize I have these 2 books all these years and I don't even remember how or where I got them. The cover on 83 is 80% split so it won't take much to fall apart.

I think it was ok at first because he was new and had no idea what he was doing but then to continue to throw out books without scans or anything is kind of offensive. It is too bad that some people can't resist the "deal" so as long as there are buyers, then he will continue to carry on.

looks like the Pedigree Grand Auction next Jan will also have X-men 1 9.2 as well as 9.4 for #2 to #4 I guess we won't have to wait till Feb to see the fireworks. Sellers are coming out of the woodwork to get ahead of each others. I don't be surprise at all if some one else threw a 9.0 or 9.2 copy in the CL exchange before then.

here is one of my new addition...shocking that this is a 9.2 while the number 2 is only 8.0 Regardless, the color is super bright. This one is a beauty but there are 3 dings on the spines..mine #2 spine is much cleaner.

I agree, it is the best looking 8.0 you are going to find for this book out there. Truth be told, the back of book, top edge has some overhang "damage" that lowered the grade, otherwise a 9.0 would have been possible.
