I love those colors. I know many prefer black but I think white, blue or even yellow would be great in so many books...even though I don't collect SS books.

I was under the assumption that all that stuff had been mailed. DR.X +1 same here until I heard from one other board member that also hasn't received his book either

i really don't have a solution either because many came here to sell and once in a while you get a bad apple. It is a hassle to deal with Paypal and reverse the charge but it is what it is and that is why as a buyer, one can buy a small amount or not at all from a new buyer. I have no problem giving a new seller the benefit of the doubt but I am that way in life...everyone deserves a chance..screw it up and one and done with me.

yup....I took a little dip buying knowing it is a risk and only spend $30 while I could have easily bought a lot more. I exchanged dozen of PMs with the seller about other books not listed. He did offer great deals for many other books via PM but I told him until the $30 deal is completed...I won't spend $300 or more. Another one bites the dust.

sadly, I think we need to add Grimace into the list since he failed to send out any books to the buyers on his thread. I, DCman and well as Foolkiller and any buyers haven't gotten a reply via Pm for the past week and it has been over 2 weeks since I paid him. If I get a reply or receive my books today, I will update but I am not holding my breath.

from my own research a while ago, this might be the thing you are looking for http://www.tru-vue.com/Tru-Vue/Products/ personally after my research, I decided when the time is right (next year), I will take real good high quality pics of the books I want to display and I plan to have prints made and put them in frames to display. This way, I can display them without worrying about long term damage as well as theft...the books stay at the bank vault so I don't have to worry about fire, hurricane, and theft. I am waiting to move into the new house next year to display the reproductions.

the picture of your daughter on the throne is awesome...love it brought my 3 years old there and he screamed and cried so we couldn't take a picture. My son hates the camera...what more he hated crowds so walking thru the convention hall was not a fun trip because he was yelling and crying.

If you collect but don't flip, your collection is smaller than it otherwise could have been. I don't flip myself--at least not that often--but it isn't because it's evil, it's because I'm lazy. the funny/sad/ironic thing is some people here flip for less constantly so the collection is getting smaller and smaller.

the micro chamber paper inside the cover reflects(I don't know the right terminonoly) the inside cover art to give that impression and with certain scanner settings, it makes the cover looks "thin" I have a couple of examples of books where I scan it with and without the micro chamber paper....to duplicate that effect for my own understanding
