based on the Cert#, I think this was sub by a dealer and if I am right about that, any dealers that cracked, pressed and resub would be foolish to do so without returning the old label because "bloating" the census only hurts the ultimate selling price. Nonetheless, only the person that submitted that book knows the truth. I wouldn't be surprise to see the book in an auction in the near future. As far as price, I wouldn't have a clue since the last 9.6 that exchanged hands and recorded by GPA was back in 2005...long time ago, way before all the 9.4 get >$100k this past 8 months.

yup, saw it in the main forum and it is simply gorgeous....I don't think it is a press and resub based on the data. The number of 9.2 and 9.4 didn't change in the last 3 months. If it is indeed a fresh newly discovered book, where has it been hiding all these years.

a greggy bump ? I look forward for the dinner get together at SDCC (thumbs u finally got around to scan the recent arrival as you can see, the flaw that kept this book out from any higher grades ever is the soft bottom right corner and the 1/3" hairline color loss scratch on the same corner....not a crease at all. The rest of the book beside the one color loss tick by Magneto's cape is near flawless This will stay in the vault for as long as I am passionate about my collection. here is the only scan I have left of my old 8.5 that I kept for almost 7 years, the scan cut off the flaw on the bottom left corner (color loss rub like the top corner...smaller) and a 1/4" corner color breaking crease on the bottom right.

Finally got my latest batch of books back and starting tomorrow, I will list about 80 bronze slabs, mostly 9.8 Marvel/DC white page with a few 9.6 slabs. Titles will include: 1) Conan from 87 to 92 2) Ms Marvel from 5 to 20 3) Godzilla from 1 to 21 (almost the entire set of 9.8 white) 4) Green Lantern from 103 to 110 5) Invaders GS#1 and a few more 6) Howard the Duck - NOT 16, NOT 25, NOT 32 OR 33 ...at least not yet because those are in a different batch. 7) Red Sonja 4 & 5 8) Tarzan 1 to 4 and a few other titles like Flash, Thor, Aquaman,etc.., everything will be 10 to 25% below GPA and bulk discount will be available for those who wants to buy the entire run like the Godzilla slabs. According to GPA, the Boston 9.4 sold in 2006 and now a 9.4. (thumbs u did you mean a 9.0 sold in 2006? because I don't see a 9.6. What got me to notice was the Boston Pedigree with a high cert# that looks like it was certified recently so I did a little research. It is a crack, press and resub...I am surprised there aren't more outcry from others...maybe not yet

Very nice Patrick! so what is next after you complete the ASM run? My mid grade(6.5 to 9) run from 1 to 100 is about 90% done so I am close also. It is unlikely I can complete this year.

well, I am not sure what all the fuss is about the list. As far as I understand about the list, if you are on it, you may have been defrauded. I am on it and I may have been defrauded. I have emailed Mark about my name on the list as well as forwarded him all my email exchanges with Robojo33 regarding my purchase and refund. There is no shame or guilt by association with being on that list. I bought 2 books from Robojo33. One was cheap and I still have it and one was quite expensive so I returned it after I joined this forum and learned about his scheming way. I have no idea if the book I kept is a PLOD...for certain it was over graded. I personally want to thank Mark for working on this case...I have no idea who is paying for his time, certainly not me so if Mark's work can make life a little harder for Danny to continue his ways, then big kudos to him.
