  1. There are non p9 that have gotten completely out of hand, Tabernacle at Pendrallvale from Legends are over $1,000.
  2. I always assumed the lighter color version was late in the printing run or just a sun faded copy.
  3. Agreed and when he was doing Ultimate Spiderman that was one of the biggest books going, it was outselling Amazing Spiderman, the flagship title for most of its run. Also remember, he starting using characters that were not used well for most of the 90's, ie Luke Cage, Iron Fist, etc. I though I remember reading quotes from him in the past that he had no desire to work for DC or any interest in their characters. I wonder what changed his mind.
  4. Not to nitpick bit why is Iron Man 282 on the list? That isn't a Bronze Age key....
  5. I have always thought, the terrible string of movies that have come out since 1999, have a lot to do with it.
  6. On hot titles, I had a lot of success of selling runs locally through Craigslist with titles such as Walking Dead, Preacher, etc, getting the same money I would online.
  7. I just bought a collection that had about 10 of these in. I will have to take a look at them now.
  8. The auctions mentioned were mostly bid on by valiant board members. The winner of the X-O #1's is hoping for some 9.8s is the pile of 70+ copies for nearly $3k http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lot-of-76-Copies-of-X-O-Manowar-1-First-Issue-NEAR-MINT-Valiant-HIGH-GRADE-Book-/292161595932?hash=item4406302a1c:g:m0oAAOSw~rpZTbHY
  9. IMHO with lower to mid grade items (unless they are mega keys), there is really no point to get graded unless you plan on selling.
  10. Top staple looks like it has rust migration to the paper. If that is the case, I would not consider grading at all.
  11. If you plan on grading a lot of books, I would get a subscription to GPA analysis. It lets you look you sales data for grade comics and that will help you in your decision of what to get graded and what not to get graded.
  12. Just a suggestion, but mentioning what issues are missing pages may help with the sale. It matters if #1 is missing a page, compared to #51.
