I got both of these for $15 shipped because the covers looked cool. They’re super thick and surprisingly full of great talent if you’re into Indy and alt comics

The artists editions are not new purchased but I have never even looked at them since purchasing them. I put them directly into storage and then ended up bringing them to my moms to sit in a closet for 5+ years. She brought them down today along with a Mad Magazine she picked up for me

My daughter is a new reader and she only seems to be interested in reading drama on Roblox and needs to up her reading comprehension. A while back we were at the library and she asked to read a scary comic book so I handed her a Walking Dead volume and she loved it. So for Christmas I got her volume one just to see if she will read the whole thing. Bought a cheap copy for like $7 and it arrived signed by Kirkman. Nice little surprise for her from “Cliff 09” 😂

I think that’s issue #2

Has Dale Keown weighed in on this yet?

Buyers who use the last auction sale to buy a book
dupont2005 replied to blazingbob's topic in Comics General
Doesn’t hurt to make an offer, and if you’re getting bombarded with dumb offers you can ignore them or even set a minimum. I’m likely to block someone who sends rude messages regarding something I have for sale though. I actually have offers turned off for a lot of my items and sometimes someone will contact me with an offer in PM and I’ll end up accepting it anyway -
My eBay store is getting a bit empty. I should add more comics but been feeling way too lazy lately. I don’t think I can ever downsize to nothing but pretty sure I can downsize to 2-3 longboxes if I try 😂

I haven’t checked in in like a month. They make an unlicensed variant by stapling a translucent cover to an old comic They sell out at Comicon immediately by letting flippers buy hundreds of copies at the start of the day. It appears copies were graded not just suspiciously high, but incorrectly given green labels at CGC, leading one to believe they bought grades. Now one of them is with the other ones wife. Did I miss anything?

What 90’s comic do you think there’s still unopened boxes of out there? Staple a SUPREME bumper sticker to it and pay whatever it costs for CGC to give the whole box 10.0 blue label slabs and $$$ on Instagram

I’m liking the extreme sun fade covers better than the originals

Dang that’s today? Me and my kid were just downtown. Almost asked him if he wanted to go to the comic shop but didn’t because I just gave him a stack of manga.

I think eBay is double dipping with managed payments as well. All my auctions have been like this, or at least the big ones are the ones I notice. Maybe I should call or review my statements -

I used to think it didn’t but I can’t figure why fees are so high either -

I was under the assumption shipping does not go toward fees. The buyer asked the same question and I dropped the price of the books by $30 for him. It was a pair of Library Edition hardcovers and I double boxed it with peanuts and bubble wrap. Shipping came out to over $20 media mail and insurance not counting the cost of materials. I think all in I paid $30 to package and ship it -
When will/will the WALKING DEAD bubble burst?
