  1. CGC does a page count on every book, including books that eventually get graded 9.9 and 10.0. So that spine gets cracked no matter what. But keep on truckin' fine sir!
  2. Exactly. All the part-time pimps, slabbers and flippers got to get their piece of the action before the whole thing goes in the tank.
  3. I actually don't think I had anything to do with most of them, but at least 2 or 3.
  4. In a FIFO system like CGC has the NYCC books shouldn't have caused any delays on something that close, unless they got a ton of walk-throughs or something. They may just not have updated the web information. I would call. Fast Tracks. So FT from a con last weekend would jump ahead of books that apparently had one day before they should be graded? No wonder things are so slow... Now you're starting to catch on. It's a vicious cycle that keeps repeating itself after each major con, and TATs for moderns and economies keep getting slower and slower because CGC does not want FT books to fall behind, so they always get priority. assuming there is separate grading and shipping queues, the Fast track once graded would also jump ahead in the shipping line too.
  5. I figured this scam out a few months too late. I don't foresee myself subbing books, but if I do an opp or something, I'm definitely paying for FT. Hugo Weaving took a dump on my FT comic books.

  7. If you're lucky, you'll have them in hand before Thanksgiving. Where I really screwed up was in not fast tracking grading onsite in Chicago my WDs from San Diego. The show may be cancelled by the time I get them back. Even as awesome as I am, I doubt Balent would have pulled those for me and brought them to be onsited. I probably could have browbeaten Pierson, but I don't have enough Balent-whispering talent yet. You didn't mention that they were SS books, firecrotch. That where the real WD cake is, n00b.

  10. There are multiple copies of that book in CGC 9.8 SS - I've got two coming back from Cincy myself  That's 5. Don't worry,I'm not upset of not being the only 9.8 SS book I'm just glad that it kept the book's 9.8 grade
  11. It certainly was not an acceptable thing to do, reneging on his bids, but since you sold the book, how would he make amends to you so he can get off the probation list? In the past, it has been suggested that the PL person engage in a given number of successful transactions to be removed. It seems a little "chicken-egg" to me.
  12. Even if it is one of 5, it is still a sweet book. That is true. They look amazing!!

I guess these customers were just ripe for picking then Nice selective post. Lets call it a lie of omission, shall we? You may not agree with my logic, BUT You missed this: I figure online & conventions are fair game to charge whatever the market will bear & I order for all classes of my business. No, you miss my point. Are they not customers? Why don't you ease your Larry hardon into some other space? (thumbs u
