  1. Classic X-Men had some beautiful pin-up back covers. I am pretty sure I had John Bolton sign one as well (Sorry Ant)
  2. George - that is magnificent!!! And I have to tell you, it may be the biggest blessing that Miller was left off. He was stamping his hand in the ink to create a "speed effect" and it is very possible that CGC would have not awarded the 9.9 if he had signed it. Sometimes mistakes are benefits . . .
  3. A CGC witness needs to pick up the sketch directly from the artist.
  4. I hate back cover sigs, and I hate mixing creators with celebs. But I love celebrity sketch covers - when there is nothing else to get done. I know you love the photos and the lobby cards and whatnot, but I don't. Custom sketches are often the only way to get that sig you want and still make it fit inside your collection. http://www.myslabbedcomics.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=27256&GSub=248
  5. I know when someone is cuckoo for cocoa puffs, champ.
  6. So the guys that troll the Snyder DC movies on the boards are the same as people posting false racist Black Panther violence stories on Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat? All righty then. via Imgflip Meme Generator
  7. Oh bullcarp. That guy is the biggest hypocrite on the boards. He cries like someone put a pound of sand in his vajayjay about all the big bad boardies. The reason he got so much negative attention is because he came in with guns blazing saying insulting demeaning things like this: What is drek? 1950's war comics replied to 21Pittsburgh58's topic in Comics General Drek is 99.9% of the modern slabs, people might as well slab a national enquirer as they will have equal worth in the future He got negative attention because he was a negative *spoon*. And a negative *spoon* he remains.
  8. I'm pleased to have provided so many with so much for so long.
  9. I lurked for two years before I started posting.
  10. Perfect evidence of me being so old I can't see whether I am shift 3 or shift 4 . . . .
  11. You and me both. I used to empty the clip into him daily.
  12. The contingent from $teamtarantula has the floor.
  13. I hated that book so much. John Buscema art + Madripoor was not what my 17 year old self was hoping for out of a brand new Wolvie ongoing. I always assumed it was a shadow, but what would be causing it?
  14. Well, we've done 70k since April without firesaling anything, so not for a while. Enjoy the bumps, Richie.
  15. So, I am pretty sure the signature says Dr. San Guin ("sanguine") and it looks cartoony. My theory is the sketch is named and the character is Dr. San Guin, and it is not a signature at all.
  16. You used to give me so much shizzle for being old, well own it now grandpa.
  17. Also, don't forget that there are PMs that have been going on for years among old guard Boardies. I honestly think that was one of the things that really drove down traffic in general.
