WOW....I just finished reading this whole thread. Crazy stuff here! Learned a lot about a bunch of people in this community......my opinion: Bat-Man should sell the book back to the rightful owner, I would be pissed. Yannis should be on the probation thread for this transaction failed. I know I am a little late here but that is my 2 cents!

Hi all, I have a ASM #311 CGC 9.8 SS Mcfarlane and Micheline if anyone is interested send me a PM. Sweet book but think I have decided just to get the #311 CGC 9.8 universal. Been working on a ASM run from #298-325 plus #328 all CGC 9.8. I would love to have them all signed by Mcfarlane.....one day I will. I want to personally get them signed myself. Having someone else get them signed for me just doesn't sound as good to me. Some of those issues are hard to find in CGC 9.8. Just need a few more. I figured it wouldn't be hard to find them all but quickly learned otherwise!

Just curious if there are any plans to add a Copper Comics section to the forum. Is CGC resisting this new classification? Is it just something that will take time? Is it pointless? Thoughts?

Copper, one being a #238. Sold for $330, the buyer just sold one last month for $550...where did I go wrong I paid $375 so not a huge loss.

thanks for all the input! 9.8's are coming down fast in price. I just had some auctions end on ebay for a few ASM key 9.8's and they bombed pretty hard. Depressing.....I wish I didn't need the money, I would of rather kept them then sell them at the prices I got

Sometimes I feel like a sucker paying these crazy prices for CGC 9.8's, but man there are many out there buying them!

...but man, I could have so many more if I bought a bit lower high grades I focus only on CGC because of ebay. Been burned way too many times!!

I only really collect Amazing Spider-Man cgc 9.8's, I am a picky person. Probably got sucked into the CGC bubble....

I have been pondering this for a few days now. Maybe I should just buy 9.4's and 9.6's? I really only buy for my personal collection but like the money I get when, heaven forbid, I need to sell my 9.8's. I always buy them back and my spending gets crazy and I have to sell a few! What do you all think? I am talking bronze/modern comics here.....

Kudos to Trey Cannon on a well packed and well priced Spidey comic! Beats ebay, no getting sniped in the last seconds!
