These are located in Roseville CA. I have a number of new unassembled short boxes. These are CGC sized and magazine boxes unassembled. There are shipping boxes unassembled as well. They go to the dump Sunday. They must go today and you must pick them up. PM for my cell number and location. Please take everything, the wife says it must go! I will check my PM periodically as I clean out the rest of the garage.

There is some waviness, a front cover spine tick and what appears to be a ncb crease on back cover that I tried to show in picture #4 Happy to consider trade offers Any questions please PM.

Are prices still climbing or have they eased up a bit???

Sellers still not budging much which means ever greater inventory. When the jobs market causes the holders of these books to have to let go, then the real fun begins. In the meantime I look all day and spend nary a dime. -
The Thor seems to be heavily stained around the price box That 7.0 looks a bit of a gift to me. I don’t see the 8.5 at all

Love to see how many loons would come out of the woodwork to bid up that 8.0 Hulk 181 in the 9.9 label if that SCS damaged book ever hit the market -

OR there is 500 on the census because because all the 9.4 and 9.6’s have been CPR’d a hundred fifty times as people try to win the 9.8 lottery. Census numbers are useless in almost every case. If they meant anything that info would be ‘sold’ like the graders notes were for so long. -
Bronze age comics that are heating up on eBay...

It only makes sense if you have a ton of those eBay “bucks” that are about to expire. Maybe the buyer got if for $10 or something? -

Paying a premium for that wrap is questionable. But that number on the label is dreamy. -
This is similar to ST #97 being retconned as the first appearance of Aunt May and Uncle Ben Who cares The ‘unknown soldier’ first appeared SSWS #151 The guy in #OAAW #168 was NOT the unknown soldier - he was like the Plummer or handyman in Avengers #181 (Scot Lang) who only later becomes Ant-man. Never bought into ST #97 or Avengers #181 and I am not buying OAAW #168

Buyers who use the last auction sale to buy a book
NP_Gresham replied to blazingbob's topic in Comics General
The whole idea of ‘negotiating’ annoys me. I will occasionally send offers but more often than not I wait it out and see if there is an eventual discount. I guess I am used to Target - the price is the price take it or leave it. unless the book is the last I need in a run or rare, I will more often than not move on. I don’t sell much but I would rather deal with an anonymous bidding platform. I don’t need to hear anyone’s rationale. Just give me an offer and leave it at that. -
And CGC not helping out the newbs either

This one was a little disturbing

Total impulse buy Rather common nothing give-away, but I was struck by how nice it looks being almost 70 years old. Just can’t resist a high grade book
