Bronze age comics that are heating up on eBay...
NP_Gresham replied to PeterPark's topic in Bronze Age Comic Books
If you change this to “lowest first” and cut out the ‘best match” option. Count the books in the $2 - $10 range Plenty of cheap sales , to offset the knee-jerk reactionary buyers with more cash than sense -

This person is so full of Shyte Fake sale by nothing 44FB seller on a badly damaged book, while there are numerous $2-$8 sales. Not believing this Krap at all. -
A couple of auction wins. Especially happy to get a nice raw copy of 149. Since Marvel ret-conned this into a Ben Reilly first appearance it has been slabbed more than most other books. So happy to get my raw copy without cracking a slab to do it

This Week in Your Bronze Age Collection!!

X-men are not really my thing. I think I sold them all in a purge earlier this year. So total impulse buy here, a real stunner I just could not resist. -
Careful! Lest ye summon the debate. Thats the third rail around here, kind of like pressing. We don’t want to go there from this thread

That was it. I had a missing Hulk #200 and MTU #52 because of newsstand issues. The gap bothered me no end. Sooo, it was damaged corners.

How about a silver age first appearance hero? OK a “B” lister at best, but about as cheap a first appearance you will find. Marvel Super Heroes #12 Lots of issues, soiling wear on corners and all over. Tape pulls, center crease and dog ear. But structurally not too bad with everything attached and no writing, cut outs etc. when do you see a super Hero first appearance for $54 shipped US? I feel this is a solid 3.0/3.5 And as always, trade offers welcome. Please read payment and other info first post.

I thought I did, just picked up a CGC 3.5 on eBay auction in Sept. Reading this I went to check GPA, do you have the 3.0 listed there?

He missed nothing. Believe me I checked all those boxes!

The bottom edge is very rough and the top edge super sharp. Looks suspicious to me

ASM # 47 issue here is impact damage to cover and first 2 pages ( should be visable in the pictures). Small chip to lower FC corner, barely holding on to book. Nice wrap, strong colors. Interior clean, no issues with staples. $57

ASM #32 Pluses are nice wrap and bright colors. Issue is chipping on top edge ( see close-ups) and some rust migration starting near the staples. Tanning on outer edge of cover. Complete book, everything firmly attached. VG-ish book to me. $62
