  1. I'm not sure of all the copies on the market currently. But I assume most are restored from what I have seen. Like we've all said - resto on Pre-Robins not as big of a deal since supply is low. But where the Tec 38 is concerned I really frown on restored copies (personally, just an opinion) - I waited to find a lower end grade unrestored blue, instead of buying a mid grade MP or EP resto for the same price (or cheaper) And I feel what your saying, the 38 by guide in comparison to FMV on the Pre-Robins before it - does seem to be "un-balanced" in the current market.
  2. Nice (and hard to get a hold of) book! supply does seem to be soft these days, but just 3 years ago, I had a half dozen tec 168's and passed on a dozen others... I guess maybe the dark knight movie interest absorbed them all... Probably right on the mark there. I have hardly seen any of these available at all in the recent months. A really nice key book. Interesting how books can go in and out (in a sense) from one time to another. Was reading everyone's Tec 38 comments above. If a movie with Robin (a good one) came out - it would be interesting to watch the demand change and how drastically.
  3. Nice (and hard to get a hold of) book!
  4. +1 , it presents higher. Great pick up!

  7. That is a really great cover, and pretty tough to find if I remember!
  8. I'll never get to see 'em unless I crack. Or maybe buy a second raw one. What's so good about the inside of comics. There for display not to read and enjoy!
  9. Yeah! We'll never be able to "prove it" but all signs point to yes! I love the figure in background covers. Any other good ones off the top of your head?
  10. Great cover and book! I want one! I fully agree with the "motif." And I know Tec 31 was not the first of all. And I know it is "arguable" but I feel the Hangman #7 surely took some nods from Tec 31. The moon might make you wonder. But the Bats in the background on the 7 seal the wonderment to me.
  11. Got a new book today that I've been searching for, for a long while Hangman #7 I'm not sure if this is as scarce as it seems, but it took a very long time to find one, and there are only 4, that includes unrestored and restored, 4 total on the CGC census. Now I don't collect Hangman or MLJ comics, so why did I really want one of these you may ask. This is why: Now it can be argued that Hangman was certainly a poor knock off of Batman. And this cover swipe certainly is interesting, right down to the bats in the background identical to the 31. Pretty neat. (Btw isn't there a cover swipe knock off thread of covers some where? )
  12. Just like life then Aw Hell!!!! It's naked time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Always incredible to see a black cover with no color breaks, but that should be expected on a 9.4!
