Bat-Man

Picked up these two books a few months back. Scans don't do either book justice. The MM29 is a beut and by far the greatest looking 4.5 I've ever held. Looks like a solid 6.0 and the reds pop. Both MM27 and MM29 are hands down in my top 5 fav covers of the whole run. (Thanks GreatEscape for helping me find a great MM29, and thanks Schelp for the 27!)

Picked up this modest example about a month ago. It's low low grade - Poor and has a married CF - but its a reader Hulk 1, I've always wanted a reader Hulk 1. Already been thoroughly read and enjoyed. Will be doing many more re-reads in the future. (Thanks again tortoise! )

I tend to agree with you. 31 is my favorite cover. But 29 has a great cover itself, and its the 3rd Batman - and far rarer like you've said. And 27 - well 27 is what it is.

Your 31 gives me shivers. It's one of the very best examples I've ever seen. Truly a gem, and the best Batman cover.

You had quite a haul at SDCC, and all amazing books. Was also fascinated with the Arrow since he's close in age to Superman and Batman first apps. Great book!

i was going to go after it hard for an upgrade, when i caught the fib. decided not to play. good luck to you, but you'll have ebay buyer protection in any case, i guess. I called ebay to clarify about buyer protection and they said I would be fully covered. So I'll probably go ahead with payment. I guess his "fib" somewhat hurt his final price as I thought it was quite a deal. Glad I didn't have you to contend with in the auction. Here's the pic I asked for to make sure that he did indeed have the book in his possession. Interesting. Well it looks like he has the book. But why the "fib" (lie) Odd.. Well at least your getting a suh-weet book!
