Back at it after a half dozen or so years in the wilderness...
I'll try not to break anything.
Lets see... legal stuff first I guess.
Price is for the book.
Shipping cost are exact (no handling changes). I ship Priority Mail with ins/sig conf (Paypal rules) and live in Zip Zone 1 (NE USA) so figure shipping near me would be in the low teens and all the way to the west coast would be in the low 20s. I of coarse combine shipping on multi purchases. Shipping outside the USA would be more, it's been over five years since I've shipped anything Overseas so I imagine the price has gone up a lot.
Payments accepted.
Paypal - Money Order/Check (must clear) - Silver Bullion (.999) (At $2 over spot) Which at this minute of posting spot is $26.50 per OZ.
Payments other than Paypal can skip the sig conf and save $3 or so on the shipping costs.
Returns - I accept returns. Item(s) must be in the condition as sent.
The books in this thread were bought off Heritage and they did a good job grading (as they normally do).

Your collection should be worth about 10 times what it was before you left.
Welcome back
Sold it all 2013-2015... Probably could get 3x now. Can't believe FF 49 in FVF is a $2500 book now. I had multiples in mid grade...
And FF 5 in 3.5 I sold for $600 is now $5K.

Ha! JC was right!

So, I've been mostly gone from the boards and the hobby for about six years now and what do I see when I return?
CGC is way behind on turn around times...
Guys cracking slabs and upgrade-selling on eBay...
Hulk 181 scams on eBay...
Greggy buying more romance books...
Looks like nothing has changed!
How you all doing?
Did I miss the great comic crash? It looks like everything is more expensive than ever...

And... The Necro of the year award goes to...
I can not reply to the post quoting me from 2005 since the rules on political speak went bonkers here a few years ago (and I understand why).

Came on to give my grades....
This only worked when I use to live here everyday. Then I never missed anything.

Blah.
Greggy like gibberish doesn't impress like the old days.
I also noticed no more member sign-up dates in your icon area even though the area is bigger.
And when I click on a thread it doesn't go to the last post read but the first post of the thread.
Can that be changed?
I don't see an option in the settings.

You know what's missing from the new Boards?
People posting. The amount of posts and activity has dropped considerably.
It's been in decline since the removal of the babe test thread.
I stopped posting after the update since this place seems alien now.
They even took the little cake icon away for your birthday.

This thread might end up getting more views than the movie.

Poor Aquaman. He gets no respect.
FOR NOW!
Recent events have made me reconsider my above snide remark.
I Hope it a nice film for all aqua-fans.
-
Wait a minute.... Aquaman gets his own movie?
When this happen?

This thread should be stickied as an example of how not to handle yourself with the comic book auction houses.
It was much better live.
So much goodness was clipped out.
-
i love that.
Simple yet compelling.
Always a good combination.

OK $725 straight up even with Paypal.
Dang this edit removed my html pics.
If you can't see the pics and wanted the book let me know.

Is double boxing using usps boxes a problem too?
Interesting question. Like many, I use the double box method because those priority boxes are pretty damn thin.
I don't understand his question and I may be totally ignorant of some policy the USPS has, but why would they care how a person uses their boxes when they give them away for free?
That's why I said it was interesting.
It's perfectly fine use use priority materials to stuff your box(es) or to cardboard your comics as long as the outside box is priority and you pay the priority fee.
Just don't do that if the outside box is plain brown and you send it 1st class or media mail.
That's abuse of the free boxes.

Fantastic Four Annual 2 CGC 9.2 OW/W
Asking: $850 $800 $750 $725 shipped 1 day express fully insured USA or $725 if you can pay by MO/Check
I am willing to ship overseas if you're willing to pay extra for the shipping costs.
edit: Forgot the new return policy. Since it's a CGC book no returns but I'll insure it and if necessary pay for a reholding fee if it gets cracked during shipping and the PO won't cover partial damage. It's never happened to me since I kill it with bubble wrap and peanuts and double box always.

Tales of Suspense 37 VG/VG- Asking: $60
Looks F/F- from the front but back has a few tears, small piece out, and water damage along top which doesn't go through the whole book but shows on the last page and just a little on the second last page.
