  1. That was some... interesting reading
  2. Got it, guys. Thanks. (thumbs u
  3. I, too, would appreciate a PM, if someone can find the time. Thanks.
  4. The books that were offered inside the box were UXM 303, UXM 307 and X-Men 11. The mail away form could have landed you any one of those or UXM 297. From what I understand, the 297 was only available via the mail in coupon. I'm still not sure if you were guaranteed one of the books in the box. Let us know how it turns out! Arrived today... Had X-Men 307 inside in fantastic condition. No idea what it's really worth... The BiN on the only copy on ebay is $55. Apparently it's one of the harder to locate? I thought it was a 9.8, but after scanning it, I noticed what looks like a printer crinkle along the top edge. Not sure if CGC would ding for that nor not. It's almost imperceptible in hand; almost like it was there prior to printing... The pics are hotlinks to bigger scans if you're curious. Like I said in the other thread...
  5. Apologies for necro-ing this thread... I picked up a sealed copy of the game for cheap, opened it up today, and this was inside. 307 is defenitely not mail-away only. Not sure what it'll grade with the printers crease on top edge and wear at lower staple front. It's otherwise flawless. (click for larger)
  6. Three different dealers via one source. It was a fluke. Excellent score, dude! I could look at these books all day long
  7. My scan is fresh from the envelope. Looks pretty sharp! Unfortunately, they don't ship to my neck of the woods That is unfortunate. What does it cost to ship to you? I've never had a single comic/magazine shipped from the States to Greece, but I imagine that first class international would have to be somewhere around 6-7 bucks at most.

  9. There you go! ( This thread is about pre-code horror books.) But it's a great book nonetheless!
  10. Had one transaction with Matteo and everything went extremely smooth. Items as described, fast shipping, quick communication.
  11. Well, you can never have too many copies of sweet copper books, anyway! (From one hoarder to another ) I'm not a hoarder... It's...uh...inventory.... That's it! Inventory! Why is it so hard to convince my friends that's the case?

  13. There's been a bunch of these on E-bay lately. Yeah...I'm watching one of them now. I've also attempted to buy that Amazing Heroes #37 from milehighcomics twice but both times they said they were out of stock. Makes you wonder why they even advertise it if they don't have it! Lone Star has AH #37 for $2.60. They also have Madman Comics #4 for $1.10 and Rocketeer Adventure Magazine #3 for $6.00. Thanks. (thumbs u I've been watching the Rocketeer Adventure Magazine #3 on eBay. The AH #37 is just a VF but I might go ahead and buy it anyway just to have a copy until I can obtain a NM copy. Maybe I'll just get all three! Good choice. (thumbs u Most AH issues are hard to find in true NM. I usually settle for whatever grade I can find and I still haven't managed to complete my set!

  15. In this case, I think that "looks good for its age" must be considered for understatement of the year! And from an eBay seller, too! Looks great for its age, would be infinitely more appropriate. Excellent grab, Andrew!
  16. Great books, man! Love those Jumbos and Jungles. Incidentally, why is Jungle #20 (probably my favorite Jungle cover, BTW) only a 6.0? It really looks better judging from the scan
  17. He also doesn't discount his sales threads - EVER! I realize now it's Canada - America's little cousin so I don't count that as being 'international' I actually thought the same thing. When someone from the States says "international", I automatically exclude Canada. I figure they'd say "a boardie from Canada". But, in any case, two months is way too long for anyone to return a book.

Another package from Ed arrived today and, as usual, everything was excellent!
  19. Just received a few Bronze goodies from Fastballspecial today. Tightly graded, nicely packed, quickly shipped and cool prices, too. Excellent in every way.
