  1. I have a vague recollection of an interview Dan Clowes gave to the Comics Journal, sometime in the early to mid 90s (maybe 1994?), where he mentioned Eightball selling somewhere between 15,000 and 20,000 copies. I could be wrong about this - but I really don't think so.
  2. Nope, that drekky title went only four issues and it is noted in the Overstreet Guide. And as a fan of 90s Marvel drek, I'm proud to say I have the full four issue run. Any other guesses? Little Mermaid? 4 issues. In the Guide. The 4-issue series that is included in Overstreet is published by Disney Comics. The 12-issue Marvel series I'm talking about is this one. And it's not in the guide. We have a weiner! Also, all 12 issues sported Photo covers....most of which are very dark, and a beyatch in high grade. But I'm happy to win, anyway!
  3. OK, I think I found another one! WCW: World Championship Wrestling.
  4. There was also an 8-page promo in the early 90s called Marvel Spotlight, which also had 12 issues. Does it count?

  6. Or you can order it for 26.37 from Amazon!
  7. From the usage guidelines: 1. Books must be CGC or raw only, or items directly related to comics. So, the answer to your question is "no".
  8. Super kudos to musicmeta for a lovely run of conservatively graded bronze Captain Americas (that I still feel I got for a way too low price, even with shipping charges from US to Greece) and for the best packaging job I've seen so far from a seller in these boards. Not that I've ever had any major complaints in that department from any of the guys here, but Michael truly went above and beyond!
  9. Major kudos to marmat for some really nice moderns and a sweet bronze ASM, all logically priced, accurately graded and nicely packed. (thumbs u
  10. Super kudos to Nikelspot for some really nice bronze ASMs and Spectaculars, plus more 90s Venom minis that anyone could/should handle. A excellent seller and all-around great guy! (thumbs u
  11. Kudos to you, sir! You're an inspiration to all of us SA DC collectors/completists!
  12. Did you at least get to keep the Astonish/Suspenses? Nothing, I was escorted off the property. DRX You should've beaten the out of them and buried their bodies in the damn books. Or at the very least, you should've told them to off in a variety of colorful and memorable ways (thumbs u
  13. Well, Mile High supposedly has one for sale (and pretty cheap too), but I wouldn't bet on it... And for $48 more, they'll throw in this year's SDCC variant books, one per each $50 spent. You know you want one!

  15. Major kudos to ft88 for some accurately-graded and nicely-priced bronze ASMs. (thumbs u
  16. Gah! I just remembered I also got a couple of G.I.Combats from Dan, a few days ago (along with two bronze Caps and a B&B). I was sure I'd given kudos, but apparently I had forgotten. So, kudos to Flying Donut from me as well! (thumbs u
  17. A big bag of kudos to Doiby_Dickles for a nice, tightly graded set of ASM #100-102. Reasonably priced, quickly shipped and nicely packed! (thumbs u
  18. I knew I should have woken up a few hours earlier today!!! I guess being an artist with weird hours has at least one advantage. Normally I would've been up at least 4 hours earlier but it was my day off and I thought I'd catch some extra zzz's
  19. I knew I should have woken up a few hours earlier today!!!

  21. Sweet book. It is also the 'Tec with the largest CCA stamp ever!
  22. Once again, kudos to the1stfro, for a batch of sweet bronze ASMs. Forrest is really one of the best sellers on the boards and deserves as much business as possible. (thumbs u
