  1. Had a number of excellent transactions with Anthony/mazman and I'm sure I'll have many more in the future. One of the best sellers on the boards. Period.
  2. Lots of titles, but most of them had only a couple (or, at best, a handful) of issues and almost all of them were bi-monthly or tri-monthly.
  3. Dave only did the figure in the foreground. The mirror image is by Adam Hughes. You can even see his signature in the mirror.
  4. The first part of this sentence is largely true. Bulgarian women are gorgeous. The second part is just disappointing. Not even one comics magazine? There is no comics scene in Bulgaria?
  5. Murder, Morphine and Me. My favorite non-EC crime story. Jack Cole was wicked! MM&M was probably the BEST crime story ever put in comics... but it was in #2. You're right...

  7. I've had a few transactions with Marc. Delightful every time. Excellent seller. A true asset to our community!

Another package from Ed came in the mail today. A couple of Silver/Bronze spideys and two Bronze Bat-books. As always, a pleasure!

I've bought 3-4 times from Ed in the past (maybe more? - not 100% sure). Top notch every time!
  10. I had one transaction with zuckuss2003 last year, which was as smooth as a baby's behind. (thumbs u
  11. What he said - except replace UK with Australia. Jon is a class act. (thumbs u He also ships to Greece, as I found out in one of last year's VCCs. Excellent seller. (thumbs u
  12. I've had one excellent transaction with Frank in the past and I'm actually in the middle of another one right now, which I'm sure will be equally great! (thumbs u
  13. I do! I've bought from faster friends three or four times in the past (last two were back to back, about a month ago) and everything was top notch! Grading, packing, communication, all great! Paul is really one of the best sellers on these boards!
  14. Huge kudos to ft88 for some lovely, tightly-graded, copper Bat-books! (thumbs u

  20. Kudos to faster friends for a bunch of early Marvel G.I.Joes. Tight grading, great packing, excellent price, fast shipping! What more can one ask?
  21. That's correct. Hate was far more popular than Eightball when the two titles began. With that in mind, it is entirely possible that the first issues of Eightball had a circulation of less than 10,000. OK, I just checked Krause's Standard Catalog of Comic Books. It says 2.875 copies ordered for issue #8, with no info for the earlier issues. Keeping in mind these are just the orders from Capital City Distribution, I'd say a ballpark figure for 10,000 copies total would be close to the truth. Which still doesn't say much about the very early issues, though.
