  1. I know, they sold at exactly the discounted price I advertised them for in the sales thread! Which is what makes it even more amazing, to me at least, as to why you refused to put up the signs to claim your prize. I was tired and on pain meds. Notsure what you are assuming The only thing I was assuming Green is that if you wanted these books, you could have posted the signs instead of wasting the time to do it by posting PM's like this... This also sounds extremely optional to me. obviously i did mind. Which I hate to say... is kinda rude sir.
  2. Why? Someone who wasn't even involved in a transaction of mine complained and started a slanderous 35-page thread because of "semantics". I never responded in the thread because of the witch-hunt mentality around here. Besides, I didn't need to - the PM's between the parties were clear. "If you don't mind" is clearly optional, and Green doesn't need to make excuses - he should be bothered by Biorupp's actions. A confirmed "sold" is a confirmed "sold". That's why PM's exist. I kind of thought "if you don't mind" was being polite, sir.
  3. Well said Sharon. The main reason the " trumps any & all PM's" is posted in my sales threads is to prevent things like this from happening. I'm not sure if Green knows that we were talking in a PM or not. I thought my wording was spot on in the "trumps any & all PM's" part. Why Green refused to put the signs up is beyond me. He had a great deal. Why wouldn't he just do this? All I can say is how fair would it be to Kawfeadikt to back out of his deal? He put up the in the thread, as per the rules, and won the lot fair and square. I would hate to disappoint him, especially since he paid up immediatly and seemed very happy with the readers he purchased. I would love to get past this with Green. I've even offered him a full out on everything he purchased (over $100) if he felt so strongly that I have wronged him. Regardless, my terms were clear. 1st rule posted in my thread... " trumps any & all PM's". Green didn't feel the necessity to post these and Kawfeadikt did... so Kawfeadikt got the spoils.

  5. BEFORE VOTING, READ THE NEXT FEW PAGES PLEASE Lets give everyone the whole story Green. Green lowballs me an offer for the remainders of the Marvel 3.69 sale. I counter and we agree on a price. He had the books... all he had to do was post the "take it" in the threads for everything he wanted. Not a big deal since it is clearly posted in my thread rules that "Take it" trumps any and all PM's which Green quoted for me above. After accepting Green's terms and I did accept them I asked him to throw up the "take it" signs which you can also see above right under where I accepted his terms. So Green shoots back with this... ... and I come back with... ... which Green doesn't answer. In the 15 minutes all this is happening, Kawfeadikt steps in with the "take it" on the remainders. Now Green is mad on top of being rude that he lost out. I can't get him to understand that "take it" trumps PMs. He states that since he put the "take it" up in the PM, he did what I asked. ?? How would anyone know you won the stuff by putting up a "take it" in a PM? If you don't put it in the thread, then its still up for grabs, as per my thread rules. And grabbed it was. Since you are mad (for no reason) I have offered you a complete refusal of everything you won with no hard feelings and you won't answer. If you can't understand what "take its trump PM's" means which was stated in the rules section of each of my threads, then I can't help you. Now it appears that Green is going to drag payment out with polls and discussion which really isn't helping me at all since I need the funds and know those books will sell. But if I have to wait 30 days for Green to understand the English language and pay, then these books will be right here waiting for him.
  6. Rupp's $3.69 DC READER thread - SOLD OUT CLOSED! Just a note that this lot may be coming back up for sale... I will keep everyone posted.
  7. Going to start a nice DC Silver Age reader $3.69 sale in the Mixed Thread in about 30 minutes or so.
  8. Just got all the Bulletman issues posted in my sales thread. More to come.
  9. what would truly cut down on the behavior is if they got a life. nah, ain't gonna happen. as it's your sales thread, i don't see why you wouldn't be allowed to put this stipulation in but i may be wrong. many have blackballed probation listees (obvious) and members they have on ignore (understandable). Mike, I am just seeing if that would work, meaning I haven't done it yet. Just curious if anyone would thing it would help cut the shill down a bit. Can't see why I wouldn't be able to do that cause it my sales thread. I could be wrong but the only thing I know we really can't say is PP Personal. John Don't know if it would cut down on the behavior or not. They could still post the "take it" and never send the check or money order... which puts you in the same place with a lost sale and time wasted. Plus you might lose legit sales. When I signed up in Feb (I think) after just reading the board for years, I went on a buying spree and spent waaaay too much. Sure would hate to lose some of that legitimate newbie cash by denying them a way to pay with a credit card.
  10. Don't know Taz at all but received this PM from him yesterday.
  11. Palin is goin home tonight . Sorry, She's not going home this week For a second I thought Max was the one going home
  12. I am still holstered (chaffs a little) but just to clarify, the sale was promoted and concluded in the Water Cooler, not the NGC boards. Sorry sir, I misunderstood. The Water Cooler was the place.
  13. Thank you Pov for responding. I think I understand what your saying which I think is... ...had Thing had a 8 month late shipping problem in the NCG Board (which is where He11blazer's transaction took place) & said a flippant remark about the NCG thread rules, it's members & probation guidlines/list (if there was one), then that individual thread's rules would have been violated by Thing and that community would have acted accordingly... perhaps like a few of us here did. Since Thing is not a CGC Board regular user/member he's not expected to follow the same rules we follow here concerning on-time shipping, general respect & etc. Only on the NCG threads is he accountable. That's great for the CGC Board I guess... but I'm sure its gonna scare the comic buyers who might want to buy a coin or too. Let's just hope any future transactions with the NCG Board will be trouble free. You are correct tho, Pov... since Thing don't live here, I shouldn't & won't worry about it. I appreciate you sir. also holstered.
  14. Pov... don't know you so bear with me. I admitted to Thing when he came back on and explained he was legit concerning the charity auction, "fair enough". The issue with the charity was null and void for me right then and there. The reason I said what I said was because I've been taken before on supposed "charity" auctions. Not here on the boards, but other venues. His not shipping the coin in question (in all fairness) shows deciet to a normal person. Who waits 8 months to ship a coin for a charity win? Yes, he finally addressed that too. Fine, he hooked He11blazer up with something he didn't want... 8 months later... after being put on the spot in front of entire board. Would this have carried on for more months had He11blazer not stepped forward? Probably, but who knows. The question still remains wether the original coin was shipped or not... still no proof offered. He11blazer is a saint in putting up with this for as long as he did and is a better person than most of us in regards to what he would do after being treated in this matter. What got a lot of people, myself included, totally ticked was his total disregard for the rules here and flippant attitude. You don't make light of rules put in place to protect people... especially after you just broke a majority of them. Pov, if you think I said what I said for a "standing in the boards" you are wrong. I said what I said because Thing's total lack of concern for the rules here was unjust, through and through. I will state again, he addressed the issue of the charity to me and I responeded with "fair enough"... that part was done for me. The others who participated in the charity auction were the ones questioning his integrity. He appeared to address all their concerns. The name calling and condescension didn't help him in my eyes and a lot of others. Tell you what, if Thing will feel better if I state "yes I feel he ran a legit charity auction" concerning getting the donated funds to those involved, then fine I will. After discussions with others, will I ever believe he shipped the original coin in question without proof he did? No I won't. Do I believe his comments about our rules here were flippant and uncalled for? Yes I do. Ask others, they will tell you that as well. Pov, we all have friends here that will back each one of us. I'm sure Thing is glad you have him in his corner. I just ask that you look at the big picture, he disrespected the rules of the entire board. Your board. Your rules. He doesn't care about them. In other words, he disrespected you. If you and 8mile want to support the views of someone who doesn't respect you or your board, then thats totally up to you. Jumping on a "burp" fest and dissing people who work in fast food is not the best way to get your points across. If Thing never wants to post his insurance reciept, delivery confirmation, lost mail confirmation reciept for that original $250 shippment to the UK, then thats his choice. Call me Captain Standup if you want... I just want to know that if I deal with someone here on the boards, that they are legit and that means they respect the people and rules put in place here to protect me. And you. If you all want to keep bringing it up, I will continue to state the above.
  15. You are 100% correct Dr. X. "Taz-Mite" probably should be kicked out. But it's just a matter of time that he goes to another IP address under a different email and gets right back in here. I've wondered how many people that are on here now... were on as someone else. From a different computer at school. Or their aunt's house. Or etc. Whats the odds that someone who is your best online bud now possibly screwed you in a sale under a different name years ago? I'm sure there are a few here. I'm not saying that what the kid did is excusable... but maybe rehabilitatable. If we could get him to conform (sounds awfully Clockwork Orange-ish)... then maybe he won't keep trying to come back under the radar and just realize that staying is best in the long run. That said... if the kid doesn't even want to try, then the community should get a rope and put him out to dry.
  16. Not really a walk away number... I just want to know, more or less, if I need to move him from devious Bat-Mite territory to maniacal Joker territory.
  17. How much do you estimate he's cost you total combined?
  18. You are probably correct in that assumption, cloudofwit. After I spent the majority of this last weekend standing up for the rules of the community concerning a certain wood connoisseur and his fast food bashing lackies, I must be slacking. For some reason, Taz reminds me of a board Bat-Mite. Maybe thats why I'm hoping he does the right thing here.
  19. Taz, don't know you at all... but here is an excellent chance for you come forward, fess up and become part of the community. Your recent sales thread has given you the funds to take care of what you owe to divad and Mschmidt... just pay them and let them keep the merch. They probably won't deal with you still, but at least you attempted to make it right. Call it a cost of doing business. You will make it back soon here if you treat everyone with honesty and respect... and have merch to sell. You should realize that the scenario that Boscoe is setting up for you is "historical" in relation to these boards. Kinda like giving you the key to the "city". You just have to make the effort. Hope you don't blow it.
  20. It just amazes me that the guy won't even try to correct things... especially since he's been given every oppurtunity to do so. Flippant attitudes and disrespect have run wild this week... so its par for the course.
  21. Well said. I did state "fair enough" to his reply to me about the charity auction. Speaking of proof... I personally would like to see scans of the original shipping receipts of He11blazer's original lost coin shipment. Since there has been considerable questioning that the original coin in question may not have been shipped in the first place, a few of us think that all this "drama" has became a "mystery" now. Tracking is available according to usps.com... which surely one would use sending such and expensive item. http://www.usps.com/international/sendpackages.htm If no tracking then surely if one were to send a $250 coin across the water, they would insure it. If not then perhaps a claims form for the lost package? So there has to be some dated proof there that the original coin was shipped to He11blazer. The post office date stamps everything so it should be easy to prove. Toss that scan up Thing and you'll be totally exhonerated . he's right about you! Get a life! He worked it out with he11blazer its over! Go to work and sell some fries and big macs! ...and I'm happy for He11blazer... now about that proof.

  23. He was recently added to the HOS list... you might want to consider starting payment retrieval tactics through paypal or your credit card company. •Joker-Fish (added 11/3/10 - 10th "Hall of Shame" Member)
  24. I think it's the emboldened adjective that offends him, mate. Nine months to put this right. Disgraceful. I have no standing in this community, so my view is irrelevant, I know that. But the fact that he's got away with this is really quite astonishing. You do have a standing in this community sir & your view is very relevant. You have shown you have a genuine concern for the people here and I thank you for that.
